Roofing
There were 4 men here working on the roof on the first day. One stayed on the ground and picked up roofing material that the guys dropped down. On the second day, the ground guy didn't show up so much of the roofing material ended up in our yard and in the bushes. They picked up what was visible but if it was in the bushes or flowers it was left there. In the fall when my husband went up to clean the gutters out he got a big surprise.....The gutters were full of roofing material. Now that Spring is here and I'm working in the yard I am finding tons of roofing nails in the flower beds along the foundation of the house. And you know they are probably in the lawn too, which means no barefoot grandkids this Summer.
