I was happy with a remodel of my original bathroom last winter and decided to contract Doug Avery Kitchen and Bath to remodel an additional bath and a half. Doug Avery Kitchen and Bath provide great communication, I always knew when to expect them at my house, and on this occasions where work would be done off site or we had to waited on delayed parts to be delivered, I was informed if they would not be at my house on a subsequent day so I knew that I would not have to wait and wonder if anyone was going to come to my house. Excellent communication. During reconstruction of the rooms, if the crew had better ideas on placements or other suggestions, I was given the options, and was able to make informed choices. Often, their options were improvements (some were simple preferences that didn't matter, other than allowing me the option to have it "my way"). I would use and recommend Doug Avery Kitchen and Bath again.
Description of Work: This was a complete gut and remodel of one and a half bathrooms.

My first experience with Doug Avery Kitchen and Bath Remodeling involved my initial phone call to contact them for contracting for the bathroom remodel. My phone call was returned promptly and Doug made convenient arrangement to inspect the bathroom and make a bid for the work. Doug Avery custom stained all wood work with stain that was obtained (and matched) the stain used by the cabinet maker for the vanity. The quality of work resulted in me committing to remodeling the remaining bathrooms in my house (an additional bath and a half) using Doug Avery Kitchen and Bath Remodeling. While I would like the cost to be less, I do not think that I was over charged for the work, in fact, I think that I got my money's worth. I am very happy with the experience, from communication to quality of work. I have already contracted with Doug Avery Kitchen and Bath Remodeling for an additional project.
Description of Work: Remodel of the main bathroom. The existing bath required complete demolition and installation of new drywall, tile, cabinetry, plumbing, painting and woodwork. Custom requests that I made and were incorporated included LED night light (with wall switch) that was installed in the toe kick of the vanity, ceramic tile installed in the sink base cabinet (which limits cleaning mess and water damage potential under the sink) and replacement of the bathroom door.
