Express Tire & Auto Centers

If you go here to have them work on your vehicle, ask them what forms of payment they take for the services before any work is done.  My daughter had called around to get prices on used tires.  We needed three and it was very difficult to find used tires in the size we needed.  Express Tire had two that they were charging $60 for which included the tires, mounting and balancing.  We decided to buy those two.  I had no cash on me and was going to pay by credit card only to be told at check out that they couldn't accept the card as payment and would only accept cash.  The employee said he had told my daughter on the phone the day before that they would only accept cash and she said he never said anything of the sort.  Doesn't matter because I was the one paying for the tires and because of the misunderstanding I had no cash on me and had to make a special trip to the bank.  Ordinarily I would have no problem with this if I had been told in advance but to find out when you are checking out is a little late.  They need to make things like this clear to the customer right away even if that means telling them before any work is completed to avoid problems such as this one.
