The doctor that I normally see has retired, and I have not yet seen the person taking over her patients, so this review might be different in the future. Everything has been routine.

He's real good.

This is a large practice but they have the administration and processing of patients down pat. All of the records are electronic and they took a digital photo of me upon my arrival for my chart. There are a number of assistants that take background medical info and do the routine eye exam stuff before you actually get face time with the doctor. Everyone was friendly and helpful. The office mailed me some paperwork to complete and return prior to my appointment, which I did. They already had that info in their system at the time of my appointment. I arrived 10 minutes early for my appointment. The only drawback is that I wasn't called until 28 minutes after my scheduled appointment time.

I'm holding my own because they're incurable diseases. The most you can hope for is to have them stabilized and they are doing that.

After the first appoitment with Dr. Abowd, they scheduled an appoitment
to measure my eyes so that htey could order the proper lenses, The first surgery
was done on 8/31/12 and the second on 9/28/12. The result was that I am 20/20
in both eyes without corrective eyeglasses. .

He is very caring and gentle. He explains everything. He takes his time.

Dr. Schlagheck is punctual, kind and listens to my concerns. In the past when I had some vision issues she personally followed up with me to make sure the treatment was working. I trust her with my eye sight and my families eyes.

The doctor took great care to run a number of tests, dilate the eyes, perform glaucoma tests and pressure tests on the eye. The exam was very thorough and the problem was diagnosed. A follow-up visit is scheduled to determine the exact strength of lenses required, as this visit was inconclusive. It appears as if my old prescription has been wrong since day one.

My experience with her has been excellent. I have only had examinations so I don't see her too often. However, the experiences with her are always positive.
