This project involved interior painting of several rooms on the first floor in my home (not just 1-2 rooms). Actually, it was painting and caulking all baseboards, door trim, windowsills/trim. Smooth Coat Painting did a great job! This project took several days and Curtis/Team worked professionally, cordially each day until it was done. They took great care to protect my flooring and other areas. Upon completion, each room was nicely refreshed, made my home feel more "homey". Also, Curtis is very nice and cordial. It was a pleasure to work with him. If I decide to paint other areas of the house I will be contacting Smooth Coat Painting.

I hired SmoothCoat Painting to repaint/refinish my kitchen cupboards, as well as repaint my kitchen. In addition I had Curtis add a backsplash above my countertops. When he was finished my kitchen looked brand new, up to date and very large. It added such beauty, not only the paint job but the professional touches he recommended. He recommended adding knobs and handles to the cupboards, which added much needed definition and character! The backsplash that was added was a last minute idea that he took care of beautifully. My intention was to just get the kitchen done, but I was so excited by the way it turned out that I rehired Curtis to paint my bathroom as well as do several drywall repairs that were needed as a result of an unfortunate experience with a different previous company. I was very pleased with Curtisâ s drywall work (and clean up). He actually and a true surprise to me was the first one that was able to fix and repair a damaged ceiling that was improperly drywalled years prior. It turned out wonderful! You canâ t even tell that the ceiling drywall wasnâ t done wrong in the first place. He did an amazing job! I will definitely call SmoothCoat Painting again for any future projects that I may have.

Curtis painted our kitchen cabinets, laundry room cabinets, and a bank of cabinets in our living room. His work was exceptional. The cabinets look great and he checked in with us throughout every step of the process to ensure that we were happy. His pricing was fair, and he was very straightforward about everything so there were no surprises. He arrived on time or early every day and worked hard to make sure everything was done right. Going through a kitchen update with several sub contractors I have come to know that this is rare and very much appreciated. We have small children and arranging to have them out of the house etc is a process, Curtis ensured that he was there to work when they were gone and worked diligently the entire time. He is friendly, considerate and has great customer service. I will be using him for future projects in our home and would/will recommend him to family and friends. We had a slab leak and had to move all our plumbing to the attic. In doing so, we had over 25 holes in our walls that had to be repaired. This included replacing the drywall and matching the paint. Curtis did an incredible job of replacing all drywall that was removed. He also matched all of the textures and matched all paint perfectly. Not only did he do an incredible job with the physical work, he was a joy to be around. His personality and his attitude were the best I ve been around. I will recommend him to any friends and family and I am looking forward to the next project I can call him to help me with.

I highly recommend Curtis for dry wall repair especially texturing. I had a large hole in the wall left by the plumber after repairing my gas line. You can t tell where repair was now. I learned a lot from Curtis and he was happy to explain each step.

Curtis was very professional and got the job done in a timely manner. Which was not easy since one wall colors we are very dark and needed extra coats. He also spotted bleed throughs while packing up and took everything back out and applied more coats to that area. Very honest and helpful.

Curtis was very concerned with providing quality customer service. We contacted him on Thursday and he was able to begin work the following Monday. He scraped, and taped and textured 3 bedrooms, 2 hallways, and the kitchen and dining room in 4 days. He also patched up a hole in the ceiling and you couldn t tell there was ever a hole there. He was very polite and great to work with. His pricing was fair and his work was great. We will be using him again!
