When we first had the problem, we searched Angie's List. Rose was the provider we chose. The salesman (Mike) came to our house and did an inspection and found a bed bug (my wife had been bitten several times). He explained their two processes (heat and chemical), we chose chemical. We set a date for treatment and had seven days to essentially remove everything from our house (excluding furniture, electronica and drapes. To ensure we were ready, Steve the scheduler called one day before so that we weren't charged a $75 mobilization fee. We were ready. The next day, we left the house and the contents were treated by service technicians (Mike & Steve different people then those listed above).. When they were done, they called and asked if we would like a couple of windows left open and we said yes. We had to remain out for two hours. When we returned, we opened all windows. After that we inspected house every day and would find both live and dead bugs, the quantity of live to dead decreased over time. A three week inspection was scheduled . At which time only dead bugs were found, we think from jostling the furniture. The furniture in the room with the greatest infestation was retreated at our request. We were very pessimistic at first; however we are now into January and my wife is no longer being bitten. My grand daughter spends the night. I will say that the bed bugs are about the worst things I have ever seen. All of the Rose personnel were available to answer questions.
If you have bed bugs DO NOT get sprays or bed bug bombs, as they will only chase the bugs into another room. I know this from experience. If you think you have them, call Mike at Rose Pest Control.
Also, if you have Lazy Boy furniture bolted together, unbolt for easier treatment.
