Residential Renovations

On July 27, 2022 we contracted Residential Renovations (RR) to repair a portion of our roof that was leaking near the chimney. We also had them make enhancements to our roof/ventilation configuration to eliminate ice damns. The ventilation changes worked well and we did not experience any ice issues during the winter. The leaking portion of the roof is the issue. It states clearly in the contract the nature of the necessary repairs. The roof continued to leak throughout the winter. We contacted Scott (the owner) in January 2023 and he informed us that the repairs would be covered under warranty work. The roof was eventually fixed in March 2023. Additionally, it was disturbing to learn that those who worked on the roof knew exactly where the issue was located and commented to that point. The leak caused our ceiling to become stained and requiring repair. We have continued to contact Scott for resolution. After numerous attempts to schedule the repair, and multiple sub-contractors (appointed by Scott) the agreed upon ceiling repairs have not been completed.

Installers did a fabulous job! Windows look great perfectly trimmed… Jobsite was left clean and orderly absolutely would use this company again. Their entire staff was a joy to work with.

I have had several renovation projects with this organization and they will continue to be my first call in the future. Through all my projects I have not had to do a thing to clear renovations with the homeowners association, they took care of EVERYTHING start to finish! Knowledge displayed by all employees about the products was impressive. The installers attention to detail and dedication for exemplary work was unwavering. Communication about the progress of the projects was unmatched by any contract worker I have dealt with in the past. My only regret is not finding Residential Renovations years ago. Highly recommend!

the work exceeded my expectations very professional, not very happy because they did not put the fireplace in the estimate, but apart from that happy with the result, I am going to hire again for the next project siding .

I loved them, they did an excellent job. They didn't take long to finish the job, very polite, and answer all my questions. They did a very good job, I would recommend them to anybody.

They did an excellent job. They were done in a couple of days and did a very good job of removing the debris, hauling it away and cleaning up the property and we couldn't be happier. We wouldn't hesitate to hire them again for other home projects.

It did not go well. The window installers did a terrible job. There were windows so poorly caulked that the pink insulation was visible along the sides. I had to have them back three times before the installation was merely passable. Very poor communication between the boss and the workers made extra work for the worker installing gutters and he forgot to tell the roofers about a small area over a closet that was included in our contract. The roofers repaired this small area but it causes them to have to go buy extra shingles but did not have the proper flashing. I would not use this company again.

Scott was very nice and professional.  He added allot of extras for us which made the deal and we were very happy with the results.  the guys that did the work were awesome also.  they did not always start at the same time every day and that is why i did not give a higher grade on Punctuality.  Overall, we were very happy with Scott and his team and would use them again and recommend them.

They were friendly, they cleaned it all up when they was done and they did an excellent job. I'm happy with them.
