We were new to the area and needed to find a house fast. Ray was very helpful for the first two days, then on the third day of house hunting, which was the day that we found a house, he seemed in a hurry to just get it done. He didn't check out the area that the house was in, for example, to tell us about the busy train track a mile away, or to tell us the average cost of utilities, which are things that other realtors have checked on when we've bought houses before. After putting in an offer, and there wasn't much negotiation on his part, we didn't see him or hear from him again. We dealt with his assistant from that point. He didn't come to the closing either. This is the third house we've purchased. I feel as though we could have done this ourselves with all the help that he offered us.
