I am the write who initially gave KDP an A plus review two years ago. However they have really disappointed us in customer service follow through. The new Kitchen Aid refrigerator they installed stopped working after a year and 8 months. I had the Kitchen Aid repair person from Ace Appliance speak to the owner Pat on Monday Jan 19 to tell him the refrigerator was shot-it needed $1500 to 1600 dollars worth of repairs and the best route to go was to get a new refrigerator. I spoke with Pat after the repairman handed the phone back to me. I gave him the serial number and the registration number of the unit-and he promised to call me back. On Tuesday since I had not received a call back I went to KDP in person. I was told by Pats' wife Donna that he had left town and that she would handle the matter for me. She told me she would call the customer service rep at Whirlpool (a man named Phil) and that she would call me back that same day to update me on the situation.
  Three days later,  by  4:15 on Friday afternoon of 1-23-2015, I still had not received a phone call back from anyone at KDP. I called and spoke to Pat again. He told me that he "could not find the paperwork" concerning the purchase of the refrigerator-and that I should call Whirlpool myself.
  I explained to him that he had the purchase paperwork as he was the purchaser for the appliances. He curtly told me he could do nothing more for me..that is was protocol for me to contact Whirlpool myself. 
  After spending $40,000 on a kitchen remodel not even 2 years prior to this appliance going bad, I think that Pat or his wife  at Kitchen Designs Plus should have at least made an effort to call me back and let me know the situation. In addition, the fact that he "could not find the paperwork" is further evidence of an error on his part that subsequently cost us $1800 to replace with a new refrigerator. 
  I have filed a complaint with the Better Business  Bureau as to this matter and the result is pending.Regardless of what the outcome is, I cannot in good conscience recommend KDP due to the poor way this matter was handled from a good customer.

We are very happy with the kitchen that Joe Komon designed for us. Our home is an old tudor style that was built in 1929. The kitchen is small and the layout was not very efficient. We had never done a major remodel before and had no idea where to start.
Joe guided us through the whole process explaining the pros and cons of each choice we made.  Joe designed a fabulous kitchen for us which maximized our limited space. We purchased our cabinets and quartz counter top through KDP and could not be happier.  The actual construction was done by Doyle Ayers of Peerless Millwork. The work involved taking everything down to the bare studs in the kitchen and half bath which is next to the kitchen. There was a low ceiling that was removed in the back bathroom and connecting hallway which had been added sometime in the past. Doyle did an amazing job. He even corrected some electrical and plumbing issues that had been done in the past. He never went over budget. The quality of his work is fantastic. The entire project took longer than expected and to make up for the inconvienence Doyle added small touches at no extra charge. The mitre work that he did on our crown molding has to be seen to believed.  We highly recommend KDP and Peerless Millwork.

We cannot say   enough good things about Kitchen Designs Plus. They set the gold standard for customer service in terms of taking care of your every need and attention to every single detail. Greg was our salesman and he answered every call I ever made to him in an attentive and punctual manner. His contractor was AAA construction and Jamie was the nicest most reliable and best worker we have ever had in our home-as were all of his 5 employees. To top it all off, we love our new kitchen. I hope this is not bragging, but a few weeks after we had our kitchen re-do a young employee from the Cable company came to install a new cable wire and he said"What an incredible kitchen". This same sentiment has been issued by a number of our other friends and relatives and we are thrilled with the work from KDP. We highly recommend them to any one fortunate enough to use their services.

They said they were custom cabinets, but in an area where there was room for extra cabinet, they only put stock cabinet it that was smaller. I don’t like the way they put the trim on the cabinets. The cabinets are fine, but they could have made them a little larger.
