Everything seemed fine until the roof started to leak in the house. Called them out and they said it was probably condensation and he decided to run some caulking on the roof. Still leaked, poured in some areas, so I called them out again. Told me they would have it all fixed and looking better than it was before. They ended up putting some flashing up, roof tar, and a whole lot of caulk. Looks like a patchwork quilt. I was very upset so I called the supervisor, Mark, out to look at it. He said it looks good. You don't pay thousands of dollars out for something that looks like that. Very disappointed.

I was pleasantly surprised by their honesty - I'll surely use them when the time comes that I need a new roof.

It went great. Started and finished right on time. Big crew showed up at 7:45 AM ready to go. By 11:00 back half of the house old roof was off, loaded on dump truck, and gone!

Was told crew would be out within three days to fix roof. After two weeks, I called and was told I wasn't even the schedule. Crew finally came out to complete the repair. After about a week, it finally rained and I was getting more water post repair than prior. Decided to inspect after the rain and could not believe my eyes. There were roofing nails all over the roof, boot put on backwards and my shingles were all torn up from the workers pivoting on them with their boots; horrible experience.

Showed up on time and worked until the job was completed.  Great clean-up and professional team.  I would highly recommend Holt Roofing.  This is the second time we've used this company, first for our two car garage and now for out extended shed.

Excellent. For four years I have had a leaky chimney - resulting in a ruined kitchen wall. Holt came out a year ago and repointed the chimney and replaced the flashing. When it didn't quite fix everything a second contractor, dr flue, put on a new chimney cap and liner. But then things got worse. Dr flue messed with the flashing and caused water damage to recur. Holt roofing came back out - for free - and fixed the flashing. I have had no problems since, dry as toast and very happy!

They came early in morning and worked late at night. They were quiet and respectful. They cleaned up the area each night. We are very happy with their work and with our roof.

They were prompt and had good ratings and competitive pricing. They were messy and didn't clean up all of their mess. What was even worse is the patch on the patio that I was assured would work for at least two years was worse within months. When winter came the roof leaking was worse than before they and quot;fixedand quot; it. What's worse is when I called to ask the guy was accusatory and said he only did the patch because I asked for it. He acted like it was my fault and wouldn't even look at it without charging me more. I went with another company who fixed the problem. This guy told me the work that had been done was awful. BBB A+ rating failed me on this one. A giant and quot;Fand quot; in my book!

My experience with them went very well.

They did an excellent job and came out when they said they would. They addressed my problem which was the main thing and were pretty knowledgeable as well as efficient. They were professional while addressing my questions and concerns.

They did the job as promised and the roof didn't leak. They were punctual and got it done within the timeframe. Their demeanor was fine.

Job completed a week earlier than anticipated. Fast and efficient. Very Happy.

Everything went well despite the over 100 degree temps. Still finding nails. They should use a metal detector in the flower beds. The only problem I had was months later when I had my gutters cleaned this Fall only to discover they were full of nails and roofing materials including a crow bar. So much for cleanup.

The rep was fairly prompt in getting the report written and I trusted the results of the report, but the information on the report was slightly different than what he told me when he visited. I brought it to his attention and he corrected the report.

Our salesman was very knowledgable and helpful. He helped us recoup about $1000 from our 14-year-old existing shingles that did not live up to their warranty. The tear-off part of the job was very disruptive. Although the crew put tarps and plywood around the flower beds and on the deck, we ended up with battered wood on our deck, smashed seedlings, a chunk out of the sidewalk, a broken outdoor faucet handle, a torn window screen and flattened downspout extenders. To their credit, they replaced and repaired the downspouts and faucet. We handled other repairs ourselves. After the roof was completed, we found nails and debris for weeks around the house, and when it rained, lots more nails and other debris came out the downspouts. The new roof looks great but with the first big wind we found a piece of a shingle in our front yard. It has a line of glue — obviously added — but no nail holes. Not sure where that came from! I called Holt 2 weeks ago and asked someone to check the roof. After the lady on the phone told me it was probably a shingle that blew off the neighbor's roof (no ... it matches our new shingles) or that it could be just a scrap (then why the added line of adhesive?), she said someone would be out that Friday. That was 10 days ago and no one has shown up, so I called again today. If I used this firm again, I would tell them I wanted their most CAREFUL crew. To me, it doesn't matter how good the finished product is ... if I have to put up with ancillary damage I am not happy. We had a roof replaced on our home in another town about 15 years ago and experienced none of this.

The first and most important service was the on site estimate. After pointing out the 3 trouble spots inside our home, Zack asked me to join him on the roof where he did an exceptional job of showing me the problems, explaining why they were problems and how Holt Roofing would fix them. As the job progressed, we were both dismayed at the number of plywood sheets that had to be replaced, but I saw they were bad and I wanted the job done right. Having a new attic fan with humidity control and insulated bathroom fan vents will greatly help to remedy my moisture problem. The foreman, Glenn, and his crew were great workers! They were good natured and very efficient. They cleaned up after their work and I was able to use my driveway at the end of each day.
Holt is a family owned, local company who has been in business since I was born (1946) and I would highly recommend them!

Everything went as planned and on schedule.
A few weeks after the installation, a heavy rain hit and a small leak in the ceiling developed. Holt came out promptly and took care of the problem. It was a whole day's work, but they did what it took without any complaining.
I even told the foreman, after the repair, that I was surprised with the amount of work they put into it. He replied that it probably could have been done with less, but they wanted to make sure it never leaked again. Great customer focus.
