Hawthorne Hills Apartments

Cars have been being broken into since January. In January 9 vehicles were broken into with their windows smashed. Yesterday there were another string of vehicle break ins. Dawn the property manager is seriously unprofessional. She talks to me about her low self confidence and how she doesn't like her job every time I go in there for a question, etc. Maintenance is slow on most things. Maintenance didn't know the toilet didn't flush at all when we first moved in. The apartments was crawling with bugs, both alive and dead. We had to fight for an exterminator and for their cleaning lady to come clean it before we started moving in! The late fee policy is a great one, you have a 5 day grace period. Also the apartments themselves are very gorgeous and spacious. The one bedroom is 1,000 sq. ft. and I'm not entirely sure about the two bedrooms. I feel the "upkeep" maintenance is a little intrusive. For the first 3 months of us signing the lease we had maintenance over at least 8 times without us asking for them. We have always loved our apartment except for the behind scenes things you won't learn until you move in. It is quiet, very quiet. We don't hear our neighbors next to us or below us and everyone sticks to themselves so you don't know your neighbors either!
