He is prompt and he is punctual, returns calls which others don't, he is always on top on things that he do.

Randy was called on to do some chimney repair by the furnace company who was installing a new furnace/AC unit in our home.
While he was here, I asked him if he did tuck pointing, and pointed out some decayed mortar joints on the fireplace chimney.  He gave me what I thought was a reasonable estimate for the job, so we hired him to come back the next day to do the additional work.  He was prompt, professional and courteous, and did a very good job.  
We were so satisfied with his work that we called him earlier this summer to give us an estimate on some electrical work and to do some exterior caulking where water was leaking in during hard rainstorms.  His estimated prices seemed very high, however, so we eventually hired other contractors whose prices were much more in line with what we expected to pay.   Not sure if he was swamped with work, which resulted in the higher bids, but he was considerably higher than other competitors this time.  
I would still use Randy again, as long as his prices were lower, as I felt he did good work.....

My carbon monoxide detector went off inside my house. I called the gas company and they came to my house with a meter and said that the vent to my hot water tank was leaking inside my house. I called Action Heating and they referred me to Randy. They contacted Randy for me and he called me back within a couple of hours. He came over the same day and checked things out. It was late in the day and he needed parts to fix my vent. His supply company was closed for the day so he came back the next morning and replaced the vent. He did a great job and completed it very quickly. He was very professional but also very friendly and helpful. He answered all of my questions and explained the job to me in detail. I was very impressed by him and his co-worker. He also does many other jobs around the house so I got an estimate for some carpentry work I need to have completed. He gave me a very fair estimate. I will definitely call him to do the work for me.

They do same day work and he wasn't here terribly long. I assume he did a satisfactory job because I haven't had any problem. I wasn't home when he did the work. The price was good.
