Greenworks Remodeling, LLC

This was a 30 K plus remodel. This was a lot of money. They had the owner that also arrived to work on the project, this person cursed like a sailor during the whole process. During the demo they had drywall and debris left in the living room, no clean up. The sewage pipe was cut and nothing was under the pipe. When they cut the sewage pipe this spilled sewage in the basement because they had no catch buckent and again no clean up. They used my ladders without permission, they were stored in the basement. They made a mess with them and left them for me to clean up. They replaced the piping with PEX piping and this was installed backwards so the hot and cold water was switched. Three times their troubleshooter could not figure this out until I diagnosed this issue myself. There was a leak and the same guy came out and eventually this was fixed after 3 attempts at repair. Carlos was problematic and caused damages and messes throughout the project and used a different restroom in my home which he blew up and made a mess just from using the restroom to relieve himself, he never told me and left me to find the mess. There was damage to my new concrete with their truck, they did not inform me and I found the damages later. They promised to come in and fix the cement and nothing was done yet. Their painter, all the doors in the house were stained and varnished and they tried to match the bathroom door the same and it looks like brown paint and no grain shows. I contacted them a week ago and they have not responded and I feel they are brushing me off and do not intend to follow through on their commitments. I would rather find a solution with Angi than to hire a lawyer.

The reason I gave three stars was because I enjoyed the crew and their company. Overall, for the amount I spent on my bathroom I am not happy with the finished product. Almost all of the floor tiles are cracked already, they tiled over the vents and when they cut them back in the vents aren't even straight. The floor was also scratched in the process. The drywall texture got all over my TV, the access panel, the door frame, and the new light fixture in the closet. The longer I sit with the finished project the more finishing touches I notice are lacking. Our TV trays also got broken in the process and nothing was done about that. Communication could have been better across the board. On a large scale the bathroom looks beautiful, just don't look too close. Again, the guys are great.

Great! Everyone was very professional and always happy to answer any questions. The work was done in a timely manner and after approx. 3 weeks, I had a brand-new beautiful kitchen, I.e., new floor, cabinets, countertop, backsplash, sink and window. (Kudos to Nico who suggested above-cabinet lighting-I would not have thought of that and now it is my favorite part of the remodel!) Great company, excellent work!

Before I start the review, let me first caution you to find a contractor that respects your property. They should leave your home in the same or better condition than they found it. During our install, the builders unplugged a cord to use the outlet for their tools. They did not ask to unplug the cord, notify me that it was unplugged, or plug it back in when they were done. Long story short, they unplugged the sump pump in the crawlspace. We recently invested a lot of money to have the crawlspace professionally encapsulated, so discovering that the sump pump had been unplugged was frustrating. Since the pump was off and could not pump out the rain, there was standing water on top of the moisture barrier. Had they simply plugged the cord back in when they collected their tools at the end of each day, there would not have been a problem. They failed to treat our property with care and that is irresponsible. Having said that, I would not recommend Greenworks based on the experience we had with them as a whole. The front office is disorganized and rude. I had several conversations with office staff and even when they're wrong, they still remain confrontational and abrasive. During one call, I asked why I had not received a project rendering and questioned whether it had actually been done. The man I spoke with became defensive and asserted that they always have a rending to the customer at the beginning of the job. He told me that he was pulling up my rendering as we were still on the phone and then there was silence. The rendering was never done, but instead of apologizing, he became irritated and told me he would work on it. The salesman (who was our point of contact), gave us a bogus time frame for the work. Greenworks was not our best estimate, but we chose them because they told us that the project was a 10 week wait, as opposed to four months quoted by the competitors. We learned over the course of months (yes, months) that the estimate was bogus. Our porch was installed five months after signing the contract, so we paid more and waited longer. Our project, a 36 sq. ft. porch with steps, took over a week to complete. The porch itself looks fine, but we will never deal with this company again.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!! They installed a new tear off for us and in less than a year the roof leaked and cost over $7,000 to repair and they refused to take any responsibility for it. They also wanted to charge us a $95 fee to come out and look at the roof and say that it wasn't their responsibility. We received opinions from another roofer and our home insurance and everyone stated the roof was installed incorrectly but they still never took ownership of it. They say they'll call back and they never do. Please save yourself the money and stress and DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.

Never showed up on time, took to many smoke breaks, very unprofessional. We had one problem after another. Cabnits came in broke. Floor wasn't being installed right. Countertop was cut wrong. There were more problems than SATISFACTION with this company. I had to have them come back numerous times to fix or replace things that should of been done right the first time. Sloppy work!! Owner never returns calls. Things still not right, but can't get a respond back!!!! would not reccomend them.

I was extremely pleased with the work that GreenWorks Remodeling did. The sales person was very professional and reviewed the process and materials that would be installed. He also showed me licensing and insurance paperwork that the company carries. This is something that I always ask to see to make sure the company is licensed appropriately. The great thing is that the sales person presented proof of without me asking for it. This company is easy to work with and available for questions etc. The workmen did a great job. Clean up was very good. I am very happy that I hired GreenWorks and would use them again for future projects. I highly recommend this company, this was a very positive experience for me.

Everything went well: - Always efficient and completed projects in reasonable period of time - All employees were courteous and a pleasure to work with - Not a routine project but company was resourceful and completed a project that looks fantastic - Honest about what was practical and what was not - Work on first part of project was great so I hired them for interior work which I also was pleased with - I would hire again without reservation - be prepared to be on a waiting list, they are popular for good reason

It took a while to get started they are very busy but once they did it was completed in a timely manner. They showed up whenever they said they would and they were very responsive with any questions at all. They helped me through this process with great patience.

We had a very good experience with Greenworks Remodeling. The salesman, Brock, was punctual and informative. He was willing to come back a couple times to give us time to think and decide on colors and styles. The installers were wonderful! They were very respectful to us and were hard workers. They were very skilled with the installation. They spent much time on the existing back windows that needed to be brought out further and wrapped once the siding was applied. They look great! We will definitely hire again and recommend the company to neighbors.

Once they started it went fast, work done was very good, they did exactly what they said they would do, Made sure I was satisfied with the job before they would take the final payment

Went great! From start to finish the whole process went smoothly and without a hitch. Great experience. Will recommend this company to any one. Will hire again when we need something done.

They showed up promptly every day and always made sure I was satisfied with the work. Very professional. Cost came in exactly where I expected it.

It took quite a while to get the job started we signed the contract in April and the work didn't start till June 19th, but they stated up front that it would be a couple of months before they could get at the project. What bothers me the most is how long the job took and the lack of coordination on the part of the people doing the work. The bathroom was only 5' x 7' and it took a month to complete. The people doing the job would say I'll be there at 10 and they might show up by 2, this was a constant issue and they never called to let us know they where running late. Then they had some issues on how the faucets where installed and cracks in the drywall. The next person they sent out was more professional got the issues corrected, but there still was a lack of communications from the main office.

I was approached by a person from the company who had noticed my roof was in really bad shape.  I had 3 estimates from them and each time the estimate was better.  The contact person went over all the details that my roof would need and explained what each layer of roofing would do to protect my house.  They made three visits to check the existing roof and to determine how much material should be needed.  They began demolition on July 12, 2017, and completed the job on July 14, 2017.  I was amazed at how fast it went.  They brought in a crew who really knew how to do their jobs.  They started work about 8:30 a.m. each day and didn't finish until about 8:30 p.m.  All the workers were extremely polite.  After the job was done, the leader showed me pictures of the job--the badly rotted wood and then more pictures of the stages of the rebuilding process.  The pictures will be kept in a file of the job.  They made extra visits to make sure the clean-up process was OK.  I would definitely recommend greenworks to anyone who needed work done.

Highly recommended, they came out to our house and installed all of our windows in 1 day, not only were they fast but the workmanship was out of this world, these guys are most definitely the PROS when it comes to windows, price wasnt the cheapest i received but highly doubtful i would be this satisfied and cant wait to recommend more business their way, and they do offer a referral bonus!!!!!

Greenworks did simply beautiful work on our bathroom project. All workers were punctual and respectful of our home & family. Work areas were kept tidy, timelines were maintained. Every member of the staff that we encountered was pleasant and professional. Excellent communication & customer service. I definitely recommend them without hesitation.

Jason arrived promptly, put in full days & sometimes longer. He was friendly, hard working, detail oriented and kept the work area clean. The final result is beautiful.

Overall experience satisfied. Crew was prompt. Remained in contact & cleaned up well.
