Thanks for sending out Shane and Kurt. They were the first electricians that i've had to my house that knew what they were doing. (I have a low voltage system) and they were very professional.

Nick was my salesman and he was super nice and so kind and helpful. He was always great about getting back with me and also going the extra mile. The crew was super nice too and am very pleased with the whole install experience. I cannot say enough good things about this wonderful company with getting my generator put in and the whole process. I would highly recommend them!

I was well pleased with the work the two gentlemen have done.

2 people were sent out to complete this job. They totally messed it up. Lights were not installed in the correct places. 45 minutes was spent on the phone with Great Lakes Electric and Gross Electric arguing about the placement of the lights, and whose fault it was. They left mud across my carpet. They took an entire day to do a less than half day job. A lot of goofing off. Someone had to come back the next day to correct the placement of the lights. Guess who had to pay for their mistake. I would not use Great Lakes Electric again, nor would I use Gross Electric.

They were really dependable and good. They came and completed the job in a satisfactory time. While they were here in the house, they didn't make a mess and anything that dragged out, they cleaned it up. Everything was nice. I got quotes from 3 different people and I think theirs was the best quote for the price. They defined everything they were going to do and they did it. They didn't bother me  or try to talk to me. They said they'd be here at a certain time and they were here at that time. They got the work done and got out of my house. If it happened they were coming late, they'd inform me. I'd recommend them. If I had a  friend and they needed to, I'd tell them to call them or at least get a quote from them.

They were very friendly and professional.

The job went great from start to finish.  The electrician repaired a short I created by installing an over-the-range microwave.  The 2 person crew then replaced a small bath fan with a larger unit, and also replaced the vanity light.  They also corrected a builder's problem of having to turn off 2 breakers at the same time to shut off a single light circuit.

I used this company because they gave me an itemized list and list of everything they were going to do. I had 3 other bids this was the best because they defined their proposal with neatness. The workers were on time introduced themselves. Told me what they were going to do covered the counter-tops, wore covers on their shoes in the house. The workers were polite when they needed something from me.

Chuck from Great Lakes was very professional, courteous and competent. He listened to my concerns, checked the wiring and determined that the fixtures were the problem rather than the wiring. He dealt with the home warranty company and got the fan approved. Although the home warranty company would not cover the exterior fixture, Chuck picked one up for me while he was out buying the fan and then installed it for me when he returned. He said he would have had to have put the faulty one back up anyway so he just charged me the $43 for the actual lamp (he also gave me the Lowes receipt). I thought it was really nice of him to not charge me extra to install it.
The new ceiling fan looks and works great. Since this is my first year in this house, I have had occation to bring in several repair people. Great Lakes was one of the best experiences I have had with a contractor. Polite, efficient, competent and fair on the pricing... what's not to like?

They were prompt and courtois, work was completed in a timely and professional manner.
