His work is very good. He stands behind his work and will be there on moments notice if there is a severe problem. I have hired him for both my home and business and have never been disappointed. He is honest, kind, and considerate. What more can you ask for? This last job was repair of a leak and rehung a sink and put a seal on toilet. I asked if he could get a new toilet seat for us. After examining it he said it was still good and just needed to be tightening which he did.

I have used him for awhile. I have keep going back to him. He fixed something that nobody figured out the four years I lived here. He was good and honest. He was punctual.

He was hired by our contractor to do the plumbing for a new bathroom installation.  Our contract was finalized with our contractor on 03/23/2015, for the work to begin around early May.  On May 4th he notified our contractor that he would not be available to begin the plumbing on May5th, in fact he is so busy he will not be able to do the project at all.   Our remodel is at a standstill until the plumbing can be done.  We have contacted many plumbers, and most are too busy to do a 2 day project now, and the ones that are available want to charge 3.5 times the original price.  Very poor business practice.  If he had let our contractor know weeks ago, this could  have been remedied.  Now we have absolutely no progress being done on our remodel.

The project turned out to be a bit more complicated than he had expected, but he didn't complain, and actually apologized for taking longer.  He fixed both the tub and sink issues fantastically and at a great price, especially considering how much time he spent working on it.

Arrived exactly on time and performed the job in one hour at the quoted price.
Checked his work and explained everything well.
This is now the 3rd time I have used him and will continue to use him

When Fred left, everything was working.

They got delayed at another job but still came the same day at 7pm. Fixed ithe leak very promptly at a reasonable price. Provided quote prior to repair. I will use again.

From the first time we had Fred in our house to investigate a sewer gas smell over 4 years ago, he has been prompt, professional, punctual and courteous.
This most recent job was to install a high-end dishwasher. We've had it in and have been using it for 6 months now. As always, we were very pleased with his work.
He is there when you need him and he always takes the time to explain what he is doing. One time, we had him over to investigate something, and he didn't even charge us for the visit.
Based on numerouos, repeated interactions, we think he is knowledgeable, honest and trustworthy. His prices are very fair and we think he has got to be one of the best in the business.

I called with a big problem and Fred was here that day to check it out. The next day all was done!

Although he has a very good reputation he uses sub-contractors that are not as well trained as he is. I found that his sub-contractors are inadequate. I paid about $250 for a minor job that should of lasted half an hour. He had to come back and redo what the apprentice had done. The second time he sent apprentices who couldn't even give me a quote on what it would cost to replace bath fixtures. I have used Fred Fick before and he is a journeyman master plumber and is very good, but he is trying to expand and not using good people.

The sink handle was becoming very hard to pull on and push off. I knew it was the cartidge as I had I had a similar problem with another sink in the house. At that time, I had called Benjamin Franklin as I had a contract with them. Even with a discount per the contract, I thought the price was high. Fred Fick had had been recommended to me by Mr. Waterheater, whom I have absolute faith in.
Fred and an assistant was called and came immediately. They worked very hard, as the existing cartridge was very old and almost cemented in place. They also tested my toilet and cleaned the showerhead. The final price was almost half of what I paid to Benjamin Franklin.

We found Fred Fick Plumbing on line here at Angie's List. Talked with them over the phone. They arrived when they said they would, gave us a fair estimated quote. Did the work within the time frame they said they would and were absolutely excellent wot work with! WE have hired them numerous times since our first time!

Fred is prompt, courteous, professional and the best you could ask for. I would highly recommend him for commercial or residential problems.

My client had an issue with a toilet and a flange which was supposed to have been fixed prior. However upon moving it that was not the case. Fred fixed everything and installed the new toilet for a very fair price.

Service was provided in a prompt and professional manner.

We had frozen pipes that vwere not noticed until we turned on another office area. He repaired pipes leading to the hot water heater which was not needed to be replaced by the other quote we received.

It went great. I would use Fred for any job in the future, big or small.

He was very good overall; very friendly and informative. Fred explained what was wrong and how he was going to correct it. His rate was also quite reasonable as well.
