Idler pulley fell off my daughter's 2001 Outback.  They replaced the serpentine belt and pulley, checked to make sure the rest of the pulleys were secure, changed the oil and looked for oil leak since the car had been leaking oil for a couple of months.  They thought that had gasket was bad and that's why the oil was leaking, so they ordered the gasket and I took the car back later to have the gasket changed.  But, based on information from a Subaru mechanic about never seeing this gasket fail, they wiped down the car and had me bring it back a few days later to see where it was leaking and it wasn't leaking, so they think the oil filter may have been the problem.  Car doesn't appear to be leaking oil and I didn't have to pay for service it didn't need.  I'm so happy I found an honest auto repair shop to do business with.  I've taken my own car there for it's regular maintenance their prices are way below dealership prices.  The store manager is very nice and knowledgeable and a pleasure to do business with.
