Work was done well but it took 2 visits to get done. One of the workers talked all the time and then used our bathroom instead of leaving and going to a public restroom. It was really unprofessional.

We found our AC system was running, but not cooling the house. An A-1 employee came out and put a relatively large amount of freon in our unit. It worked, but two days later, the same problem occurred. The same A-1 employee came out and claimed our system had a freon leak that could not be found. A salesman came out later and backed this up, saying our unit was known for having very small leaks. We were told we needed a new system and were quoted $3105. In getting quotes from a few other companies, one of the companies encouraged us to have them look for the leak since so much freon had leaked so quickly. We agreed and they found the leak in about 15 minutes. The repair cost less than $500. It has been several days now and the system is still working fine. The A-1 employee should have found the leak at the initial visit; it was easier just to pump in more freon and leave as quickly as possible. The second time he came out and didn't even attempt to find the leak; he came to the conclusion we needed a new system in just a few minutes. I have to also comment that the salesperson was very pushy. I think he called me everyday after giving the estimate for an answer about whether we would have A-1 install a new system, despite telling me to take my time. I will never consider using A-1 again.

The company sent Larry out and he looked and the only thing he saw was the sensor was clog. He cleaned it, and said that if it happen again I need to check code and not turn the furnace off and on that I need to call the company back they will send someone back out. seems like the furnace is working better tonight it's cold outside. Thanks A-1 for coming out so quickly today!

We've used A1 for maintenance and cleaning on a/c and furnace for several years . They helped us avoid having to purchase new for a couple of years. They were very honest and clear in explaining what was going on w our systems . We decided to go w new a/c this year because we didn't want it to go out and not be able to get a new one immediately . We like our comfort! The men arrived when they said they would, worked an 8 hr day and did not leave till the job was completed and all evidence of what they did was cleaned up . The air works great and we couldn't be happier. Installers were friendly, neat, informative and pleasant. We received a follow up call from the representative who had sold us the system to make sure we were happy. Which we are. I would (and have) recommended A1 to anyone who wants maintenance done or a new system installed. We plan on having them install a furnace for us when we need one .

he saved me much o bucks and the idiot i am felt the furnace still was working right (like i would know) they came back twice God love them ,never harsh just gritted their teeth and smiled and sh owned me,calm my nerves went on their way.  Wonderful service would definitely have them back.

Excellent customer service. Dan was professional, punctual and knowledgeable, with no bad attitude like I've gotten from other service providers in the past. I called some other guys first, but they were booked until the following week. Dan was available the following day, so I did not have to wait. In addition the job was finished in a short while. I would definitely hire A-1 again.

We love A-1. We have used them for our HVAC as well as water heater. They are ways fantastic to work with

These guys are very loyal to their customers.  They came out immediately when my furnace stopped working.  Months later, they performed an overall maintenance check on the furnace and gave advice on how to prolong the life of the furnace.  Prices are reasonable.  These guys are very professional and punctual.  I definately recommend A-1 heating.

I've used them numerous times. They are always reliable and come when they say they will. They even call and remind me each year when it's time to do the Fall cleaning.

Well after 5 minutes he says he thought he found a problem but he was going to send for the camera man to check up inside the heat exchangers where he could not see with his flashlight. I had to run an errand so I left my 21 year old son there to wait for the camera man. When he showed up my son showed him the furnace; he proceeded to turn on the camera and run it up in the furnace heat exchangers. He then showed my son what he said was an open 5" crack it the outside heat exchanger and that the furnace was not safe to operate and if we did it was at our own risk. He would send out a guy to give us an estimate for a new furnace because that part was no longer available. I had returned just as the guy was putting away his equipment. He ran the story to me I informed him I would get at least 3 different estimates before I made a decision. After he left I asked my son what he saw, he said the guy showed him what looked like a crack in the unit on the monitor for the camera. Well we went with the 3rd company who gave us an estimate. After they installed the new furnace they offered to haul away the old furnace I declined because I was planning to dismantle it and look for that cracked heat exchanger. I got a chance to tear it apart a week ago and guess what NO CRACK that's right nowhere on none of the 6 exchangers I removed. They still had paint on them, no rust nowhere, no breaks in the material nowhere, top, bottom or the sides. I included pictures. I don't see where he saw a 5" open crack. I think the guy had some prerecorded tape in his camera setup they use for scams. I called the BBB and they told me that the company was not a member but they are going to investigate the incident and get back with me. I also got in touch with several of the local tv stations that runs stories on local scams. We spent over $3,000 dollars for a new furnace we didn't need because of this phony company.
