Rival Motorsports lost the key to my quad and refuse to replace it. I drove the quad off my trailer and parked it where they ask me to. Later in the day I receive a call asking where the key is. I said I left it in the quad. Amazing enough, the key "disappeared" and apparently "I took it." They also said they are not responsible for anything that is at there shop if it is stolen. They basically said if anything comes up missing while your quad is at our shop, it is your responsibility, not ours. Look elsewhere for your ATV needs.
I have taken them work over the years, they have serviced my zero turn mower and my quads several times and I have always thought they have done a good job. But failing to take responsibility for losing a key that is clearly their fault is something that I cannot dismiss. As a business owner myself, I go out of my way to help customers, and if I think an employee has in some way jeopardized a customer's relationship I go the extra mile to keep them as a customer. That clearly is not an issue at Rival, they apparently only care about the money, not the relationship with the customer or the possibility of losing a customer.
