The work went excellent, he was very good.

He was fast, efficient, and great at explaining things to me even though I was not even at home. He came over the day after I called initially. Fantastic pricing, great work, and I will be calling him again for the other quotes given to me (upgrade to new circuit breaker, replacing a few lighting fixtures outside all for great prices)

Our house is over 150 years old.  Wiring has been put in over different stages of it's existence, first knob & tube, then to be replaced in the 1960-70's by cloth romex.  The problem started when we shorted out an upstairs outlet.  It impacted only part of out largest circuit(that's another story).  Lights and outlets were affected in both upstairs bedrooms, the bathroom, upstairs hallway, the downstairs 3way switch and the outside front door lights.................3 electricians( & 4 holes in the wall & ceiling plaster) later we found Mr. Vere Ream via an old electrician friend of mine.
Vere is very direct and analytical.  I was confident that he could resolve the problem as I watched his back-testing methods and results(different outlets and fixtures turning on).  None of the other electricians showed this workman knowledge and skill.  I was stunned when he said he couldn't repair the circuit like he thought(minimal plaster damage).  It would involve more wall and ceiling damage.  Next step......a new circuit for the specific area that was effected........and that's exactly what he did.
Things accomplished:  1)   LIGHTS AGAIN !!!   2)  Our large problem circuit no longer a nuisance    3)  Did some addition minor electrical work   4)  we  found a skilled electrician.
Vere probably spent  a good 40 hours plus on the project and worked on every level of the house, from attic to basement.  He's on time, cleaned up after himself and even brought his own sweeper.

He is a good guy and offers a good price.  He came on the same day and was right on time.  He did a good job.

Vere does great work, I have used him before. He pulled wire aprox. 350feet thru PCV pipe and installed a 100AMP service with a new breaker box. He is always punctual and calls when he is on the way. He always cleans up and is very careful. I would reccomend him if you need any electrical work.

Couldn't ask for a better experience.Vere listened to what I wanted done then inspected my wiring and advised what needed done and more importantly what didn't.He patiently answered all my questions,did the work on time and at the price he estimated.

He came on time, and finished early. His bill was the same as his estimate. He saved me money by showing me how to do things myself and what he told me worked. I already have plans to have him come back.
