We live out of town and had a rental home we were readying for sale.  Alex was recommended by a realtor and met us at the house while we were in town prior to the project beginning.  He provided very exact detailed estimates for all work and he and his team did a very good job on everything.  I really appreciated his responsiveness with communication, providing updates since I wasn't there to see what was happening.  He also made a recommendation to us for a handyman that was very helpful.  I highly recommend his services.

Alex has been an absolute pleasure to work with. He is very honest about pricing and how long it will take. His work is very good and he doesn't even use painter tape! If there is ever an issue, he will come back and fix it. He has a quality that he holds himself to and wants to ensure that all of his finished product is that way. In the past, I have worked with painters that have haggled over number of coats, were not on time and splattered paint everywhere. Working with Alex is just easy. I intend to use him again for future jobs. I've had him paint my entire house at this point. He books up fast in the summer so grab him while you can.

When we bought the house a year ago, the paint was hideous and there were rooms that had were partially covered in textured, painted wallpaper and had trim that had been painted to look and feel like sand paper. One ceiling was navy blue and one room had a mural painted on the wall. This was a paint job that needed professional help.
Alex's two man crew worked extremely hard and we were super impressed by the quality of the work. Removing the textured wallpaper, repairing the walls underneath, sanding down the textured trim, and painting over hideously dark colors required a lot of work, so the whole project took a few days longer than they had estimated. But they started exactly when they said they would and let us know what time they were arriving each morning and exactly what they were going to do. When we realized that one of our chosen paint colors wasn't going to work, they helped us get a new color and they did a fantastic job making the texture on the walls where wall paper had been removed match the rest of the room. At the end, there were some problems with clean up, but when we contacted Alex with our concerns, he was quick to make things as right as he could. We would hire Rowland Painting in the future.

He came and gave me a quote. I signed the contract and he came to paint my house for two days. My house is beautiful and he offered a reasonable price.

They did an excellent job! They primed and painted all the walls. They were very trustworthy. They came very close with hitting the estimate on the walls. I felt like I could leave the house and come back. They were here on time, and cleaned up very well when they were done.
