Ark Home Inspection

What can we say about Justin!? This was our first time using Angie's List as we are first time home buyers. I read all the reviews and his price was unbeatable! ($450 for 1,184 square feet). Justin arranged it with our realtor 2 days prior to the inspection to drop the Radon test in so it would be ready during our inspection (a nice little surprise we discovered during our inspection). We arrived to our dream home about 10 minutes prior to our appointment. Justin was already there and halfway done with the outside! Justin explained everything thoroughly with us; going above and beyond as we are still trying to learn the ropes/terminology of buying a house. Justin took his time but was still quick (no more than 1.5 hours). He showed us things and answered every question we had. He made himself available as well if any questions did pop up after we let things sink in. He told us he would have the report to us within 24 hours. Turned out about 2 hours later me, my boyfriend and our realtor all had the report in our inboxes! Very easy to work with! Very fast at communication especially since email and text usually works better with our busy work schedules. Such a wonderful experience! I will definitely recommend Ark to everyone I meet!

Justin was awesome! I found Ark Home Inspection online and decided to contact them because of the reviews by other homeowners. I completed the online form and Justin contacted me within an hour or so. I was so surprised at how responsive the service was from the very beginning. We discussed what services I would need and the costs up front.

He did a very thorough inspection and the report he provided was more than I expected. Not only did he provide photo documentation of any issues he found, but he also included potential causes of those issues. The report also showed you exactly how it should be with diagrams...for example, the cap on the chimney, proper down spouting with dimensions! He also answered any questions I had about the report in detail. His professional yet open approach was refreshing to me. His customer service and knowledge was outstanding!

Inspector responded and was available quickly for inspection to accommodate my eagerness to move along with my purchase of a new home. Inspector provided me with a full report the same day of the inspection with the exception of the radon report, however, this test takes some time and he will send it to me the day the test is finished. The thoroughness of the inspection and the turn-around time for the service made this a wonderful experience.

This company did a fantastic job. Justin, our home inspector, was in contact with us throughout the entire process and the inspection was thorough and complete. Everything was explained in a way that we understood and he even let us know what repairs may require more concern on our part.

The overall inspection went very well, I recommend the owner and agent show up early at the home to be inspected. Stay near/ within eye contact with the inspector so they can show you what is being looking at and tell you in detail what was done. By doing this when you get the report you will have a better knowledge of the report. For example at my home inspection, he found cut 4X4 post that had shims and pieces of 2X4 placed on the cut 4X4, then they put the two cut parts together making the 4X4 longer. Only problem was this was under a sunroom and this had been done to the whole side  of this room. During the inspection he showed me all of them explained the problem and took a photo of one to show in the report. the report is concise and direct., and won't answer questions if you have them. to continue on how important this is, As the realtor I tried exclaiming the issue to the sellers realtor, included was a drawing of the post with cuts and in relation to the sunroom the post were holing up and included the report, the sellers realtor had to see the posts in person. There were other health and safety issues found in the report this was just one.
The inspector had noted many idioms in the home. the inspector went over, threw and under. It was enlightening.
As I stated before I am a Realtor so I get to see many inspections and I would recommend this inspector/ company to any of my buyers.

The Inspector was very professional and easy to talk to. Gave input during the inspection and asked if I had any questions while he was there. The inspector was very courteous and respectful of the property. The report was very easy to follow with a lot of pictures and details and the report was received quickly. The report made it clear and easy to see what needed done to the house. Overall a very wonderful experience.

A complete home inspection was done with pictures. His write up was top notch and explained everything in detail for us to understand. In addition, he has been available for follow up questions and suggestions for getting things fixed. He was very polite, professional, and though. We will recommend him to all our friends and realtors.

Everything was done in a timely manner and the communication between the inspector and myself was wonderful. There was no evidence that someone had even been in and around my home, not a thing out of place.

The inspection went very well he was very thorough and he provided a good follow-up report within a day. He spent a lot of time in every room and took many pictures, which he included in the report with explanations of what he saw.
