Horrible, absolutely horrible.  I had previously used this company and they did a great job of installing new roofs on two homes.  Therefore I hired Dale Martin's company again to install these windows on a different home (I have rental properties).  It has now been about 10 months since Dale stated he would complete this window installation.  In December 2012, I even stopped over to Dale's shop and talked with Dale about installing at least five of the windows.  Dale then brought the windows to my home and said he would be back to install them.  The windows are still sitting in the porch of the home today.  I have paid Dale the whole $4,850 but all Dale does is gives excuses as to why he cannot stop over to complete the work.  His company even completed work on a house in my neighborhood within this 10 month time frame.  It is now to the point where Dale does not answer my phone calls and appears to have no intention of completing this work. I do not recommend Dale or his company to others.

ASKED FOR MONEY UPFRONT....We gave him $1200.00 before he started. $1,000.00 the day he started, paid the concrete driver for the concrete and an extra $400.00 the day of the pour to pay for the picture framing we wanted.
He didn't put in stone base for patio - said that it wasn't in the contract.  Shame on me for not knowing I had to tell them how to do it and not writing out detailed instructions in the contract. 
iHe did not have enough people, with the knowledge to do it right, here for the pour.  The concrete started to set up too fast and there were many problems finishing it.
We talked with the owner and expressed our dissatisfaction.  He told me that I was too anal and that noone would see the imperfections once I got my patio furniture on it.  He said that the only way to fix it would be to tear it out and re do it, "....and that's not going to happen".  We told him that he needed to take it out.  We stopped him from continuing on the driveway and told him that he needed to get the patio right first.  He stopped work, came back one time to tell us that he doesn't want to see this go to court and wants to get it done and all behind us.  We have not seen him since.

The entire experience with the man was  HORRIBLE.  He is completely dishonest from start to finish. He has a quick answer for everything and it is always a lie.  My entire experience is described above and I have photographic proof of all that I have written and am happy to go to court and present the facts to expose this crook.  I had some other estimates from other roofers and very much regret not using one of them.  I was not comfortable with this man once the job started and the work that was completed was sloppy and incomplete.  Avoid this man like the plague.  Read the Angie's List review from June 26, 2012.  According to that review, this man has 87 open court cases, goes by several different names and has scammed people in Toledo since 1990, taking over $800,000.00 from people.  He goes by Dale Martin, Dave Martin, David Martin and Dale Grady.  DO NOT USE HIM!!!!!

He gives really really low estimates with guarantees that you?ll hire him.  He?ll come to your house, get a large deposit, and then disappear without doing the work.

Once he takes your deposit and you take him to court, he files for bankruptcy with the complaints under that.  We have proof that he has taken over $800,000.  He's been doing this in surrounding counties.
