Wells Plumbing (740)524-4313 replaced my hot water tank and Kacey was outstanding! Spoke with several highly rated plumbing companies. Wells had commercial grade, a superior brand (A.O. Smith), higher quality materials (brass drain/shutoff valves, replaced old copper hot/cold pipes) and his pricing beat the competitors. Highly skilled, efficient, and a super knowledgeable & personable guy!

I was a little disappointed at how much it cost, considering he was only here for 20 minutes. It cost me $128 for him to replace two washers in the bathtub faucet. That included a $20 discount for being a repeat customer. He knew what he was doing and he did fix the problem. My only complaint would be how much it cost. I've used him before on stuff, but after this, I'm not sure that I would go back to him again. I would see if I can find somebody that might be a little cheaper. It could be because they're a smaller company that they charge more.

His patience while I had to order the correct parts.  It was a challenge for him to work with the Koehler parts, but achieved the objective of fixing the faucet.  Would use him again for sure and also like dealing with local merchants and keeping my hard earned money in the neighborhood.

I was happy with the work. This first experience of this major work done by Wells was done very satisfactorily. Subsequent major work wasn't done to satisfaction- not completed as promised. The price was fair-competitive. He put a defective part in that lasted two years. If he was careful, he would have put in a good quality part to begin with and it wouldn't have leaked.

The plumbing was terrible. I used him just before he probably went on and subscribed to your service and thats the reason I'm reporting it to you because he did innitially a very good job for me and then he made a promise that I went back to him six times trying to get him to keep his promise. He agreed to keep his promise and instead just kept on delaying to do the work. He said he's taking other jobs and finally I had to take the materials back to him and find somebody else to do the work. He never started the work. You could say bringing the materials was starting the work but.. He didn't keep his word on five occasions to show up for an appointment for a period of six weeks. Pricing was competitive. He gave me a defective part that cost him less in the first place, because that could have cost me a major flood in the basement.

I was quoted $300 dollars on the phone and once he arrived the price changed to $350. This was after he was 30 minutes late even though he said he "was in the area". The price change was justified by the employee that the septic "holding tank was larger than normal". I mentioned on the phone that it was a 3 bedroom home and when he got to our neighborhood he probably saw the houses and thought he could charge more. I felt like I was baited and switched.

It was done quickly and competently.

I  called Wells out because I had water standing in my yard and it smelled like raw sewage.  He told me my tank needs to be pumped. I ask him then if my leach bed was ok.  He said yes. We just had so much rain there  was no where for the water to go.  He came out and pumped my tank on July 15, 2013.  Now it is Oct 28, 2013 and my takes are over full, and I need a new leach bed and septic system. Really, only 2 months and my tank is full to capacity.  PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.  THEY ARE IRRESPONSIBLE AND A RIP OFF.

I have used Wells Plumbing several times in the past and have even consulted with them over the phone.  Last project was replacing the bath and shower fixtures.  They were very careful not to damage the existing tile since I replaced with a 3 handle unit like what was in the house.  Had the drain plug replaced also due to it was rusted.  They had to replace some pipe in the wall.  A few days later we found water in the basement from when we gave the dog a bath.  I called and they were out the same day and had to replace pipe section since it would not hold a weld very well.  No problems after that.  No charge for the return call.

IT went very well. He arrived on time, introduced himself, acquainted himself with the work to do and did it in a professional manner.

He was excellent. He is very prompt. He is very honest in his assessments. He is very thorough when he does his work. He did not leave the mess behind. He was very fair in his pricing too. He was willing to come out on Christmas Eve to come and help us out if it was needed.

Mr. Wells estimated and completed the work himself and was a pleasure to work with.  He provided a quote for the work and the final price was spot on.   It was a bit challenging managing both our schedules however he was flexible and completed some of the work in the evenings and on Saturday to finish up.  I would hire him again and he is a credit to his profession.

Excellent, Fast , Professional

Wells Plumbing arrived about 9:00 AM They Extended my main water line to the area of the sump pump. Installed several shut offs. and installed the new sump pump . we tested the sump pump mnaually by unpugging the primary sump pump and filled sump area with water. Worked great. I am very satisfied Job took about 3.5 hours I would definitely use them again

His prices are reasonable and he's great at getting to you. He doesn't put you off for a few days, especially if it's an emergency. He's very prompt and reliable.

I was thrilled with Wells Plumbing! I called in the afternoon, expecting service in a day or two, and was thrilled when Mike came out that day. He made the repairs and because they were a simple repairs. He showed me how I can fix it myself in the future.

Perfect. What made this service provider unique was Mike's thorough care, both solving our problem, and helping to prevent future problems. We are pleased to have found Mike. He is highly recommended by us country-folk.

Real up front, honest, and is an excellent man. No hidden fees or costs. No surprises. More reasonable than a lot of other plumbers that I've had out.

MIKE WAS VERY PROMPT, POLITE, & PROFESSIONAL. HE TOOK EXTRA CARE TO PROTECT MY HOME. I WOULD RECOMMEND HIM TO ANYONE THAT HAS A PLUMBING CHALLENGE.

IT REQUIRED LEVELING THE CONCRETE FLOOR. HE IS A VERY NICE PERSON AND WORE COVERS OVER HIS SHOES. I WAS IMPRESSED. HIS PRICES ARE GREAT. I WAS EXPECTING THE PRICE TO BE MUCH HIGHER.
