SIDING BY CLARK

Excelent, they did the work as expected.

Not very good.  First would like to point out that although they claimed to be licensed and bonded, they were not.  Siding By Clark?s faulty roof installation preceded extensive water damage to my house.  When water issue was reported to them, they would not return phone calls.  Finally had to go to their place of business, where they promised they?d take care of all the repairs.  They acknowledged the faulty roof installation (Ice Guard installed over some of the gutter covers, leaving gaps exposing roof sheathing), but denied responsibility for resulting (massive) leak!  They offered to fix roofing only, and wanted
to wait several months to do this due to their schedule and apparent lack of concern for more extensive water damage.  I hired a licensed and bonded contractor to quickly complete all repairs, and Siding By Clark refused to pay the bill.
Main points:
Siding By Clark was not licensed/bonded despite what they claimed.  
Long lead time for initial installation.  Promised installation in 3-4 weeks (for August), showed up months later in NOVEMBER.  
Left much trash/debris after installation. 
The removed and disposed of my gutter screening without
permission, and wanted to sell me a replacement.
Offered many excuses as to why they couldn?t fix leak
sooner, including pneumonia, truck repair, and three injuries from falling.
Their "guarantee" was a handwritten note, but not worth the paper it was written on.  Unresponsive and finally combatative.

It was very positive.  The prices were reasonable.  The quality of the work is definitely an A, I’m quite happy with that.  The time frame was right on.  I have no complaints at all.  They have varieties of windows you can choose from.

It went very well and they did a good job. They were professional in how they did it. The timing was good and they stood by their time. They were friendly and professional.

At first I was very pleased. They did the work in good time and the job looked good. After about three months I noticed that the roof was sagging where the chimney had been removed. I called Clark, he stopped by and said that he would repair it. That was is November of 2009. I waited and waited but never heard from him again.In June of 2010 I started calling and kept getting promises, but no repair. After several threating letters, phone calls and Emails, I saw him working on another job.I drove by slowly making sure he could see me, then left.. He showed up at my house that evening. He made the repair, he had used the wrong size materials and tried to build it up, made a lot of excuses and left. This was late October,2010. The shigles have not sealed properly and stick up. You can easily see the repair. VERY DISAPPOINTED. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND TO ANYONE.

I needed to replace the roof on my mother's house. They contacted my mother and stopped by to provide her an estimate. The price was right and the job was scheduled. The work was done over a two day period, and the company cleaned up as they went along and left the site the way they had found it. My mother was very pleased with the work and the company's workers treated her respectfully. I highly recommend the work and quality of the work done.

We got an estimate from them and they weren't the highest priced but were the lowest and we felt very comfortable with Greg. He came out the first day to inspect. Next his 5 guys began their work. They were here day and sometimes a little past dark to get done what needed to be done. Pat (his wife and secretary) was always in touch and was able to answer our questions. As they wrapped up the project, Greg would come out and inspect. He made sure every detail was taken care of, even some things I didn't think of!

Both Greg, his wife, Pat and his workers are all very friendly, polite & professional. They return calls immediately and are very earnest in all of there actions. The roof they completed in 2 very cold days. The gutter installation took 1 day.

GREG WAS VERY PLEASANT TO DEAL WITH. HE WAS VERY PROMPT IN RETURNING PHONE CALLS. HIS CREW SHOWED UP ON TIME AND WORKED VERY HARD ON A DIFFICULT ROOF. GREG CHECKED IN EVERYDAY TO MAKE SURE THE JOB WAS BEING DONE CORRECTLY. I WOULD HIRE THEM AGAIN. THEY DID A GREAT JOB.

GREG DID OUR REPAIRS FROM THE 4/20/03 HAIL STORM. GREG AND PAT CLARK HELPED US WORK WITH THE INSURANCE COMPANY TO GET FULL COVERAGE. HE DOES NOT USE STORM CHASERS AND HIS TEAM DID AN EXCELLENT JOB BOTH WITH THE WORK AND THE CLEAN UP. HE CAME TO THE HOUSE EVERY DAY TO CHECK ON HIS TEAM. THEY SHOWED UP WHEN THEY SAID THEY WOULD. HOPEFULLY I WILL NOT HAVE TO USE THEM AGAIN, BUT I DEFINITELY WOULD RECOMMEND THEM TO MY FRIENDS. GREAT PEOPLE, GREAT CHARACTER.
