It went very well. We contacted Lee during the last week in March. He visited the house, took the measurements and our requirements. Made the units, and installed them in July. He came back a couple of weeks later, because he wanted to add some last touches to the installation. The door unit look great and Lee was very professional in his work.

They charged me about $1500 on their services.  They have fabulous craftsmanship.  I will absolutely use their services again in the future.

Lee Spangenberg gave us an estimate last spring and told us it would be a long time before he could get to it as he was at that point a one man business and had more than he could handle. We were in no hurry, so agreed and paid a very small token down payment (10 percent). About 9 months later, Lee got back to us and said he was ready to do the work. There was one more slight delay when he received some parts and was not satisfied with them. Anyway, that problem was resolved pretty quickly, and Lee came in a few weeks later and completed the work in about two hours. They look great. Lee was very personable, creative, and easy to work with.

Lee came out promptly when I called for an estimate. He was professional, courteous, and pleasant to work with. He measured the existing closet, doorways, etc., and prepared an estimate -- of both the cost and the lead time. The room had recently been painted, and he got the manufacturer's name and color number so as to match the bookcase to the existing woodwork paint. When he had finished construction of the bookshelf off site, he called to schedule an installation date. He arrived at precisely the time he said he would, and completed the installation in a couple of hours. He cleaned things up as he worked. The secret doorway looks great; the bookshelves are adjustable and are a welcome addition to the room. The closet still resides behind the bookshelves, but it is out of sight. We are very pleased with the product, the cleanup afterward, and with Lee who did the work.
