This company is amazing! My garage door broke this afternoon and was stuck in the open position. I couldn't leave with the door open so I called Sanford and Sons because the company was recommended by the manufacture of my garage door motor. Nancy answered the company phone and problem solved with me. She determined a cable had probably broken and said she would see if she could get repair people out this afternoon. It was 3:15 PM by that time! Her repair people added us to their busy schedule and arrived within an hour. They fixed the door and fixed a few other things they found which were faulty. The charge was only $115.00, despite the fact that it was a last minute repair before a holiday weekend. The repair people were here for more than just a short time. I am so relieved. These guys saved me a lot of grief and were so professional. I highly recommend them! Thank you Nancy and all. You guys are the best!

Three years ago, Sanford and Sons replaced our garage door openers. That installation went very well and they were our first choice to call for service. When I placed my service call, I was asked a number of questions to better understand the issue. I was given a verbal quote. The service call was scheduled around my tight schedule, which I greatly appreciated.
On the day of service, the technician arrived promptly and quickly went to work. All was completed in just under 1 hour. My questions were answered in detail and all is working very smoothly. I paid what was quoted to me.

Technician arrived and spent only 10 minutes looking at opener. They turned the closing force adjuster screw and left. The opener continued exhibit the same improper function (opening & closing) by the next day or two. Called two or three times to have them come back and did not receive a response. I will not use them again. It is now a roughly 6 months later and the same problems are occurring. I will likely give Nofziger a call and see if they can fix the existing opener or replace it with a new one.

I met with them and made the arrangements. He did a fine job, installed it himself, and had it up and running by the end of the day. He showed up on time, and had the whole thing resolved by the middle of the afternoon.

Wonderful, my husband was so surprised when he arrived home to find the door fixed! I called the company on the way to work and left a message regarding the problem. They returned the call promptly and a time was scheduled for later in the day. I arrived home and soon after Mr. Sanford arrived, looked over the problem gave the same estimate as I received over the phone, except that he offered to fix the other spring for a discount since they were being replaced at the same time. I accepted the offer and he went right to work. Soon after (30 minutes) the door was fixed, and running better than ever!

I've used this company three times. Each time they have been on time and reasonably priced. They have completed the work and we have not had further problems with the things they've repaired. One time, I called their office on Sunday evening. They answered the pone! He said he knew if some one was calling on Sunday night, they needed help. He was out Monday by 8 AM and had the door fixed by 8:30.

We got a call back from the company and service in the same day. The best part is that they charged us no more than when we lived at our last home. Our new home is much larger which has come with repair bills that have been inflated. We were impressed they did not overcharge us. Honest company. Great workers. We have referred the company to friends who have also had excellent service.

The phone was answered promptly and courteously by a live company representative. An appointment was made for the following day. Mr. Sanford arrived at the appointed time (actually slightly ahead of time). He completed the repair quickly and was courteous throughout the job.

Wonderful customer service! I was referred to Sanford & Son? by the company who is replacing our windows. I contacted Sanford through their website and received a return call the same day. We scheduled an estimate visit for the next day. Mr. Sanford was prompt and courteous and explained the different doors that were available. He left me with a price quote with absolutely no pressure or hard sell. I called a few weeks later to schedule and he was able to return within 2 business days. Mr. Sanford replaced our old door with the new one by himself in about an hour and 45 minutes (during which it poured rain for about 30 minutes). He cleaned up and hauled away our old door. He also left me with the address for their website and on-line store for accessories and parts. I will definitely use Sanford & Son again.

They called shortly before arriving. They removed the old broken spring, replaced a mounting bracket that wouldn't fit the new spring (increasing the estimate by a small amount), and installed the new spring.

Great. Sanford was cheaper than one estimate and roughly the same as another, and he was by far the most professional, prompt, friendly, and clear about what he would do, how, and why. He also gave good advice on door and opener selection. After installation we noticed two gaps, and Sanford came the next day to check them out. One was due to the fact that we did not have the opener plugged in (had yet to have grounded outlet on ceiling installed), which meant that the seal was not as tight as usual. The other gap was due to a low spot on the concrete floor. Sanford advised stuffing a bit of bubble pack in the rubber seal at the bottom of the door; problem solved. Scheduling was smooth, with one delay due to rain, but a very quick rescheduling thereafter. We are very pleased with the results.
