We have two Newfoundland dogs, who we love so much. Going on vacation has always been hard for us, for we worry about are animals. We found Camp Canine from Angie list; they were recommended by are Vet and groomer. Before leaving the dogs we went for an unschedule visit. To are pleasure we found the place very clean, the animals in the stalls were happy and seem playful, the animals were fed and cared for and the attentant, on duty, knew all the dogs by name. Are 2 large pups loved the camp and the people.

When we dropped the dogs off, the day of vacation, they took right away to the camp and were treated like they were their children. We received emails on their progress. Camp Canine is a special place that works with making your pets feel like they are at a home, away from home. On are return are pups were well established with the staff, they were health, clean, happy and even gained a few pounds.

This was great experence and we are looking forward to our next vacation; knowing are furry children are in great hands.

I would highly recomend Camp K9. Kristi and her team truely love all the animals in their care. They treat them all like family and make sure any of their special needs are met. We always feel compfortable going away on vacations knowning our dog is in very experienced hands. It shows that when we arrive, the dog is excited to be there. (Not hiding in the car like when you go to the veternarian's office).

Because of a family emergency we needed suddenly to find a kennel for our dogs but I knew that was going to be a problem because of summer vacation boardings. They were booked solid but put me on their waiting list. A day later they called back and said they had a last-minute cancellation and were able to board our dogs.Our 2 dogs were boarded together in a 5'x7' kennel. Their facility is relatively new - at least it looks that way - out in the country. Bright, airy, clean, well maintained. They are very professional, very friendly, very caring. The dogs were taken out twice a day to romp in 70'x70' (guestimate) fenced-in play area. This is the second time we have used them to board our dogs. The first time they had the dogs, they discovered the shepherd mix had worms in her poop - something neither I nor my vet had noticed.I was impressed and grateful. The "report card" summarizing the dogs' stay they give you when you pick up your dogs is a nice, cute, informative, reasurring touch. They are, and will continue to be, the first facility I call when we need our dogs boarded.

The facility was clean and the staff was timely. Our dogs seemed to like the people there, which makes us believe that the staff treats the dogs well even when we're not around. They bathed our dogs, too, before we came to pick them up.

It's 25 dollars a day per dog. They give you a report about how the dog is doing, what she's been doing, which dogs she has been hanging out with, and what she enjoyed doing. The dogs seem very happy when I go to pick them up.
