The cutting crew was great and easy to work with. The only concern we had (in a small way) with the crew was we really did not know when they would be on site they kept coming back unannounced over a week or so. This was not a big deal though - very good and strong good workers.
The main issue I had with the work was the failure to completely grind all tree stumps and this was not by the main crew as I understand it. After my wife paid the bill, I came home from work only to discover that several of the tree stumps were not even nearly fully ground out or cut below the ground line (roughly 1-2 inches high above it) with long roots extending out and untouched from any grinding. These are indeed large stumps - I understand that -but at least one was not ground enough so we will not be able to either mow the area or plant anything there. We have had other tree stumps totally removed before by a handyman so we have a comparison.
We will now need to find another company to do the stump grinding job right. I left a voice mail for the company saying I was concerned and the voice mail back was in my opinion odd with a comment saying it would have cost much more to grind out the entire stumps. It would have been nice to know this in advance since we planned to do landscaping in these areas and now cannot do that.

Adam's Tree Care provided a bid at a reasonable price.  When asked if they would split the estimate between myself and a neighbor for work adjoining the property boundary, they provided a split bid in a timely fashion.   I authorized my portion of the work about the same time as my neighbor.  When I authorized the job via e-mail, I requested some additional trim work over my driveway - a relatively minor task - this did not get done so there was a disconnect somewhere.  After about a week of not hearing from them I called to see when they would show.  Two days later I got a call that they were in town and would do the work that same day.  If you need maximum notice of their pending arrival, it may be a challenge depending on how busy they are.  It is likely that my job was small enough that it wasn't high on their priority list.  That said, they did what they were hired to do (minus the driveway) and except for a single limb they cleaned up really well, including raking.  They even stacked the larger timber directly into my fire ring and did so without my direction, so that was a nice gesture.  I would likely hire them again.  In the future I would just make sure each work task - no matter how small - is embedded in the written estimate so the field crew has the entire scope of work.  Side note: on my neighbor's side they were supposed to grind a small stump and never did.

It went fine.  They got the job done quickly and efficiently.  No problems...they did what they said they will do.  Everything was cleaned up.

I did not like them. They were punctual and they came out three separate times for one job because they kept leaving before the job was finished and the last time they were out they cut the trees that's close to the property line and left the large portion of the tree in my neighbors yard and it almost hit her DirectTV disk. They wouldn't come out to fix it and it was there for weeks and they never came back out. I didn't give them their full amount and said I was going to contract with somebody else to get rid of it. I'm not gonna use them again.

I have used Adam's Tree Care several times starting several years ago when I needed a large maple tree removed after Hurricane Ike. All the tree care people in the area had waiting lists because of all the storm dammage, but my tree was about to topple over and cause a lot of damage. Adam put it to the top of the list and got it out in a day.

It went very well. They came sooner than they promised, which was great with me. They did everything that we had discussed and the way we discussed. When the workers left the only evidence they were here was the excellent work they did.

It went very well.  This company is very well used in the Sunbury area.  They came within 2 weeks of the estimate.  The tree in the front was the most critical as it was growing into the power lines to my home.  They trimmed it up very shapely and lifted it off the wires and house.  All debris was removed.  After that initial trimming we got a lot of rain and my backyard was very soft.  They waited until everything was good and dry before finishing the job.  They came on another day and did one of the other trees and they saved the one that needed the most work for last.  I imagine it took them most of the day for it.  They really trimmed it up and reinstalled the cable that had let loose from pervious work done several years ago.  I had also requested they leave the trimmings (mulch) and they left me a nice big pile for use on my landscape beds.  I contacted the company a couple times throughout the process with questions and Adam always returned my call within 24 hours.  The price was just as quoted.

He came out and gave me the estimate and they were out here the next day. We had a little mishap. One of the trees fell and smashed the gate but he is taking care of that. I don’t have any negative things to say about them. It took them a little while to get back to me about the gate but he finally did but he has been very busy.

Two men did a wonderful, fast and efficient job of cutting down and removing felled tree. Not only did they take away the tree but they cleaned up all the debris in the yard. Professional and very knowledgable about the health of the remaining tree.

I am thrilled with the service as they were about $200 less than other
tree services and they were able to complete the job within a very tight
time frame.  Adam came out the same evening I called for a free
estimate and was able to have the trees removed within two weeks of that
initial call (might have been sooner).  Estimate was right on and I had
no surprises.
I would hire again without hesitation.

Since the job wasn't completed as contracted, they were contacted several times. One time some workers showed up and said it wasn't worth the bother, and they should cut down the rest of the tree (for more money). Winter came and I was tired of waiting. I called Adam and offered to just settle up for the work they did.

I will admit that it was somewhat difficult for them to get some of the larger equipment onto my property and to the area in question, sometimes due to extremely wet ground; I think that they could have brought in smaller equipment and taken a little longer to do the work. However, I waited and waited over about a 4 month period and never heard from them.

Now I have to deal with a large piece of trunk and some big branches on the ground. I will probably just end up cutting and removing the debris myself. I don't believe I will hire this company for any future tree services.

Adam did exactly what I asked him to do, on time, in the time frame allotted. I asked him to cut the timber down to an approximate size so I could split it for firewood and put it where I could get to it. Knew pretty much what I could and couldn't get myself and made it an easy job for me to handle once it was all on the ground. I would hire him again.

Adam's Tree Care has also shaped or removed several additional trees, and the work has always been of the highest quality at a reasonable price.

We contacted their service and left a message - received a return call promptly. Estimate was done while we weren't home but they left a detailed written estimate that seemed fair. We arranged a time and the trees were cut down. They were unable to grind the stumps that day and said they would come another day to do that part of the work. We called them about two weeks later to ask when the stumps would be removed and they came out that same day to finish the job.

I had three estimates submitted to me for this work. The property where the work was done is a rental property and I have found that some contractors like to charge more to landlords because they think they have a lot of money. Anyway, the other two estimates were almost double and I knew the job shouldn't cost that much from past experience. I was very pleased with Adams Tree service. They were working in the town where this house is located and I saw their truck. I called the company, received an estimate within the week and the work was done as promised. Will definitely use them again.

I called for an estimate in June I called back in the beginning of December and they honored the original estimate. They cut up all the wood and cleaned up well. He came back a few days later to grind the stump. There was no damage to our house or lawn. Everything was very painless.

CALLED TO GET AN ESTIMATE, AND WAS TOLD WE'D RECEIVE A CALL BACK TO SCHEDULE A DATE FOR THE WORK TO BE DONE. THEY NEVER CALLED OR RETURNED OUR CALLS BUT SHOWED UP ONE DAY TO DO THE WORK. :-) LUCKILY FOR THEM, WE CHOSE THEM TO DO THE WORK SO WE GAVE THEM THE GO AHEAD TO START. DID A GREAT JOB CUTTING THE TREES DOWN AND CLEANING UP AFTER THEMSELVES. WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM.
