Brooks Brothers Glass & Mirror

Excellent service and work. I had eight foggy windows due to failed seals between the glass panes. Brooks Brothers provided a thorough estimate of the work required and clearly explained the repair process. They replaced the windows as estimated and I am highly satisfied with how great the windows look. I will definitely use Brooks Brothers for future work needed.

They did a terrific job. I can't say enough good things.

I called to schedule and estimate.  I was given a day the estimate would be performed which was a few days following the call.  I asked for an general estimate and was told that the work could be performed on site during the estimate.  The installer was timely and did a great job on the repair.

They came out to do the estimate, and the estimator said he could fix it right then on site. He started making adjustments to the doors. I had just had my bathroom renovated, and the estimator made me nervous, as he was rough when working on the door. He loosened the clamps to try to adjust the glass, stripping the screw. Since the torque of the screws was altered, the whole door shattered when he hung it back up. The estimator was obviously upset and offered to clean it up, but because he had been so rough with everything before, I told him I would clean it myself. We talked about what they could do to remedy the situation and he proceeded to measure the size of the glass doors, giving me the impression that they would replace the glass. He said someone would follow up, but I never heard from him, so I called him back a day later. When he answered, he said he would look into it a little more and call me back. He did not call me, so two days later, I called him again. He offered to come out a few days later to take a look at the door again. I requested that he bring an installer with him. On the day he was supposed to come over, I called the company again and spoke with Tina, a manager. I explained the situation and that I felt uneasy about him coming back to fix it. She asked that I submit an email explaining what happened, which I did. I asked that they give me money so I can replace the door. Tina said she needed to speak with the estimator before making a decision. I called her a few days later, trying to get an update, but when I spoke with her, she said that she had not had a chance to take a look at it yet, and she would get back to me. I asked her to give me a timeline, but she would not commit to it, saying she would get to it as soon as she could. It has now been 12 days since the estimator came to my house in the first place and I have not come to a resolution with them. The shower basin has knicks in it and the door still needs to be replaced.

I called in and they told me at what point in the project to have them out for an estimate, which was helpful. They were able to give an accurate estimate after visiting once and did not have to remeasure. Their estimator was actually very helpful because he came up with a way to get the look we wanted even with our old house and non-plumb walls. The owners both took times (on separate calls) to explain what was going on. They were even able to help reduce the overall price by working with me and the manufacturer to eliminate some custom items that were not necessary. My order was placed and the glass was installed 9 days later as promised. I will definitely use Brooks brothers again for any custom shower needs in the future.

THEY WERE GREAT, WONDERFUL!!

ONE OF THE PIECES OF GLASS WAS NOT MADE ACCORDING TO THE MEASUREMENTS I GAVE TO THEM. IN ADDITION, ANOTHER PIECE OF GLASS HAD A DIFFERENT COLOR EDGE THAN THE OTHER PIECES. I CALLED THEM AND THEY SAID THEY ARE GOING TO CHARGE ME AGAIN TO RESIZE THE FIRST PIECE OF GLASS. AND, EVEN IF I WOULD PAY, THEY SAID IT WILL NOT RESEMBLE THE REST OF THE SIDES OF THE SAME GLASS, AS WELL AS THE OTHER PIECES OF GLASS. BROOKS BROTHERS SAID THEY WILL DO NOTHING FOR ME AND BASICALLY SAID "TOUGH." SO, EVEN THOUGH THEY FAILED TO PROPERLY MAKE THE GLASS, THEY ARE PUTTING THIS PROBLEM ON ME.

TRIED TO ORDER A MIRROR AND THEY MESSED UP THE ORDER SO MANY TIMES! MY HUSBAND PAID THEM AND WE HAVEN'T HEARD BACK FROM THEM SINCE!
