Less than a year after purchasing a new computer at a big box electronics store, the DVD drive stopped working. Apparently the Windows Vista operating system would not recognize the DVD drive. I could no longer play CD's, DVD movies or load new software from CD's. I tried unsuccessfully for six months to find a solution. While working in my basement on a Saturday afternoon, I heard Joe Danyi helping people with computer problems who called in to the Youngstown Computer Show on WKBN radio. I was very impressed with his knowledge and patience so I decided to e-mail his company with the details of my PC problem. Later that same day I picked up my phone messages and found that I received a call back from Youngstown Computer. I did not expect a call back that quickly especially on a weekend. When I called them on Monday I was pleasantly surprised when Ian told me that he believed the problem could be resolved. He gave me an estimate and set up a service appointment for the next day in my home. The next day Ian called to tell me that he would be a few minutes late. It was very thoughtful and rare to be considerate of the customer's time. He arrived only 15 minutes after the original time of the appointment. He was very pleasant, courteous and professional. More importantly he fixed the problem in the estimated time and at the estimated cost AND he performed the work in my home, saving me the hassle of disconnecting all the cables and driving 40 miles. I was truly impressed; Youngstown Computer exceeded all my expectations.
