JOE'S HOME APPLIANCE

Way below disappointing. We purchased a home with a home warranty. We smelled gas from a dryer and the dryer was taking over 2 hours to dry a load of towels. We called the home warranty and they sent out Joe. He only comes to our town on Wednesday. $100 fee nothing found. We heard gas leaking and smelled gas. Called again. Joe came back the next Wednesday and again $100 fee - diagnosed bad gas line. He didn't have one. See you next week. Replaced the gas line with the cheapest you can find and left saying all good. Still had gas leak sound and smell! Called a gas plumber for a full house inspection who said that the leak was coming from inside the dryer. He also said the installed gas line was not up to code. Called the warranty company back and they sent out Joe against our wishes. Of course it was next Wednesday. Now Joe said it was a gas valve inside the dryer. Of course he didn't have the part at best see ya next week. He actually implied it was a sabotaged valve (all lint and dust covered) I was dumbfounded. The real concern was twice he left us with an all good but we had leaking gas - glad my home and family didn't burn. We have been without a dryer for over a month. We should have paid $100 just once but he had my wife pay twice. Dryer still not fixed 10/25 - his first visit 10/3. Just going to buy a new dryer. I recommend never trusting him with a gas dryer.
