T & K Tree Service

This is the 3rd time I have used T & K. Reasons to use: 1). On time, as promised. 2). The crew was very polite. 3). They did a great job. 4). The clean-up was excellent. When I requested a quote, Thomas, the owner, came right away. Again, can't say enough positive about his workers. very professional and competetive price

Very professional company. John handed me all insurance paperwork before we looked at job. Price and work done was better than last 2 companies I worked with. I will be sticking with T&K for all my future tree service.

Another tree service had agreed to cut down the tree 2 wks earlier but then never showed and never returned our call. Since the county had given us until the end of the month (3 wk from the time of the notice and the first estimate) we found ourselves in a bind. T & K Tree Service came out promptly and worked with us to get the work done in a very fast turn-around for a fair price, despite the short notice. Thomas is very professional and reliable. I would absolutely recommend this company and will definitely call them for future tree issues!!!

our tree is the highest tree in the neighborhood, and t & k made the job look so easy. thomas came out and evaluated the tree, and gave us a written estimate. the workers arrived on time and went to work without delay mapping out the best plan of action. they disposed of the limbs as they trimmed. they raked the yard to pick up the smaller branches. they removed the branches that had fallen prior to their arrival. our yard hasn't ever looked this great. we paid the price we were quoted. they are only tree service we'll ever call.

They were good, they did a good job. I think they did a good job, but I was hoping for a little bit better. Under the right circumstances I would use them again. They do what they say they’re going to do.

It went well. We didn't have them grind the stumps but would consider it in the future. Cleaned up well and left not damage to yard or driveway.

Tom returned call very fast. He came out and listened to what I needed done and gave me some advice on what he saw. He gave me what I thought was a reasonable price for all he had to do. Said he would do the job in two weeks and that is what he did. He called the day before doing the job as he said he would. Came out the next morning and went over everything again with me and marked the tree and branches to be cut down so his crew would know. 40 minutes later Dave his foreman showed up with his crew and double checked the plan. Dave was awesome and very friendly and went right to work. I could tell he was very experienced at his trade. It was 88 degrees out and humid but the crew were very nice and very hard workers. They did a excellent job and cleaned up all limbs and debris from the job site. I was very impressed with how the job went down from start to finish. I would highly recommend T&K tree service. They did right by me.

They arrived about an hour early, pruned the tree, cleaned everything up and left. I wanted to be there when they did the work but by the time i got home they were already gone. They took a lot out and I was concerned it was too much, but the tree filled in nicely. Very good job and would use them again.

I called him and he showed up the same day. He brought out his workers comp papers and showed me all of his paperwork. I told him what we would like to have done. He gave me an estimate on the spot which was very fair. They came out the next day and trimmed 5 trees. They cleaned up great and were very professional. I would use them again.

It went just as he said it would.   He arrived with his crew, cut down and disposed of the branches.    Then he had a crew come and grind out the stump.    The whole operation took less than 30 minutes.

They did a fantastic job!  The crew worked in an organized manner and were extremely professional.  They removed the heavy branches from my property making sure that they did not step on my neighbor's yard.  They did a good job of cleaning up the back and making sure no cuttings were left behind.  You would not have thought that they were ever present except for seeing the tree trimming. 

I will definitely hire them next year.  Thank you!

The negatives:
The bucket truck leaked hydraulic oil onto the driveway where  it was set up remove the trees. (Make sure they put some cardboard under the truck so you don't have to clean the driveway). (D)
They left 3 large divots in the front lawn where the trees hit the ground. (D)
The workmen could have been a little more thorough in performing the clean up of the front lawn. (C)
I did not notice any of the workmen wearing safety glasses. I did not notice the workman operating the bucket truck wearing a safety harness. (F)
