About us

Guaranteed call back and fair pricing. We are a residential only heating and cooling company who service and repair gas & electric furnaces, air conditioners, water & steam boilers, gas & electric water heaters, gas & electric garage heaters, all types of humidifiers, ductwork, UV lites, thermostats, filters of any type. We also do minor electrical install and repairs. Ceiling fan installations available and indoor/outdoor outlets installed or minor repairs if needed. Dryer vent and vent pipe cleaning. Tankless water heater cleaning; we run cleaning solution through heat exchanger for YOUR warranty purposes and saves life of the heater plus more efficient afterwards. We can INSTALL furnaces, AC's ... our brands mostly are (Lennox or Airtemp), water heaters (50 gallons or smaller), Aprilaire brand humidifiers (bypass type only), ductwork, garage heaters, hepa-filters, ceiling fans, minor electrical work, but not breaker panels. We do NOT service or work on oil furnaces. We also can seal and/or insulate plenums and ductwork to help with heating and cooling loss. We take our time on each job providing quality workmanship. All install work done by Ed the owner and his son Brandon. Ed has been HVAC certified since 1987 and holds an Universal CFC card pertaining to working with all types of freon and EPA laws. Services we offer

Angi has scammed me out of $317.50 per month and no leads or possible clients coming my way. Per my attorney, I have freedom of speech to say this. I am joining a class action suit against Angi with hundreds of other small businesses since they wont respond to my request for money to be refunded. I will be leaving poor reviews everywhere I can about this poor business called Angi.

They gained customers for life where new homeowners and was were completely lost in the process of furnace maintenance.They walked us through everything and got our house back up and running nice and toasty for a winter!! Agh! - couldn't believe my central air started blowing warm right before heat wave this week! Found SKOOZ HVAC at the top of the list online, so I contacted him. He responded within minutes! Tried for 2nd quote w/ another company but that fell through & sure glad it did! Ed came out next day as promised; replaced failed capacitor & topped-off refrigerant at discount fee (didn't have to!) Very nice, professional guy: I will call no one else, going forward.

Ed was prompt (he was actually early as I saw him waiting for the appointment time before coming to the door) and was very professional. He explained everything that he was looking at and diagnosing while providing me explanations that I could follow. He was courteous and finished the work pretty quickly. Ed Skuza arrived five minutes ahead of our appointment time. He thoroughly checked out my hot water heating system, made some repairs to the boiler, restarted it, and bled air out of all the radiators. He corrected other problems that had resulted from vandalism during the 2 years this foreclosed property had been vacant. He provided useful information on the system as well as maintenance tips. He went far beyond the level of service I have learned to expect in over 50 years owning houses and investment properties. Skooz's charge for all of this was very reasonable. I plan on being a return customer for my future HVAC needs.

We have been working with Ed for over 15 years. I called Ed for a second opinion on my air conditioner breakdown, another company told me I had a $2,000 bad compressor, and Ed found it was only a $45.00 capacitor that was bad. He's very pleasant, honest, polite, and knowledgeable. Ed takes his time to explain what needs to be done. Call Skooz for any type of HVAC service.
