They also tried to do the job without permits, and the building inspector came out and tried sticking us with the charge. They are an unprofessional and unreliable company.
"We take great pride in our work and treat every customer as if he or she was a member of our own family and each project as if it were our own. This is the first dissatisfied customer we have ever had and take her dissatisfaction personally and very seriously and did our very best to immediately rectify any issues or problems; however, in this instance this was a very difficult customer and there was no reasoning with her. The customer was never told that the project would take only ten days to complete. Yes, there were unforeseen delays in the project, but those delays were due to numerous circumstances beyond our control. The customer continuously requested changes, upgrades and additional work beyond the scope of the initial estimate provided and did not want to pay for the additions. Also, once the project commenced, we found problems with the customer’s electrical wiring that was previously poorly installed by others and we had to correct that poorly done work before prior to proceeding with the remodel project. Lastly, each time an installment payment was due from the customer on the project, she would provide a personal check for which funds were not available and the project would be delayed until the customer made a deposit to cover the amount of the check (which in several cases took over a week). We advised the customer that we needed to apply for permits prior to commencing work, but the customer did not want us applying for permits in effort to save on costs. Yes, various workers were on the project because we use specialists for each trade that are a part of our company and among the finest in their trade."
