Petitti Garden Centers - Strongsville

I'm very disappointed in Petitti's Garden Center. I bought three standard roses for my front bed, a Peace rose, a Love rose and a JF Kennedy. Less than 2 years later, two of them have reverted back to a wild rambler. I have 30+ years gardening experience and the roses were very well taken care of. All I can think is they were not properly grafted. They are a Star rose brand.I called their Avon store where the roses were bought and I was told the best they could do would be to give me 50% off new roses. No thank you. I'll begin shopping at a nursery I can rely on.

The shrubs only lasted me 2 years and the trees died this year and need to be removed.

This is a great garden store. I bought tuned wind chimes a few months ago and find that I shop here at least once a month. Angel and his staff are terrific.

Thank you, Michael for all your input. We used 90-95% of your ideas and our new and improved yard looks great and hopefully will for years to come. Michael seems like a nice, genuine guy with great zeal and passion for designing landscapes. He was running a little over on time with us but stayed with us as long as he could and recommended us to come back to finish up another time at no charge. Michael is great at what he does. Let him talk first and do all the work before you question him. He likes to layout what he thinks before you question him with any issues. I know Michael's time is precious and I know he is good at what he does, but he need not get so defensive when someone chimes in or questions him about his choices. He handled it very well though. We enjoyed working with him.

THE SPECIALIST WAS VERY GOOD AT EXPLAINING HOW THE CHEMICAL WORKS IN THE SOIL AND HOW THE BUGS WILL DIE. HE ALSO TOLD ME WHAT KIND OF SHRUBS TO BUY AND WHERE TO PLANT THEM. I DID NOT BUY THE SHRUBS BUT I'M PLANNING ON BUYING THEM IN THE NEAR FUTURE.
