MAIDS FOR LESS

I had a terrible experience around the holidays I spoke with the owner who seemed nice at the time she sent a crew of two.They did not have any company logo not even on there vehicle. In the middle of the clean one of the girls had a car seat dropped off very unprofessional. One of girls was blasting music and was constantly on her phone. My clean was for two hours but they only stayed a little over an hour. They could not be trusted in the rooms alone I had this very strange feeling about them. Would not recommend them to anyone.

For house cleaning I used a company called Maids For Less. Their services has been good and that is why they come regularly. What I would like other Angie's List members to know about them is that they are reliable and they clean very well. What stands out is that they were professional, timely and they do good work.

To start, the provider was more than 1.5 hours late for our scheduled start time. We had asked for a move in cleaning. The provider charged $30 per person per hour; we had asked for two people to come to expedite the work. After an hour, a very small full bath was cleaned and a floor in a half basement had been mopped. We asked them to clean out a garage; however, they did not a bring a broom and said they were unable to do so. The provider repeatedly said they would do a more thorough job had they more time; however, they were the ones who were late, limiting the time available. They did take two breaks, but they didn't charge us for the breaks, which was appreciated. The actual cleaning was just OK; there were occasions when we had to ask them to re-clean areas due to areas still being dirty after being cleaned (i.e. a window sill was still dirty even after cleaning, and food was found on a carpet that had been vacuumed.) The provider continually told us that he was available to clean the house in the future as often as we needed and that he was the cheapest provider available. We won't be taking advantage of his offer.

Cleaned 2 BR, one 1/2 BR vaccuumed carpet. Dusted furniture and washed kitchen floor.

They arrived on time and 3 people began cleaning.  It took them 3 hours to clean 3 bathrooms, 3 bedrooms, vacuum the LR, DR, FR and clean kitchen.I am not sure what they used,  but was expecting the house to smell "clean" but it had no smell at all. They kept using stuff they were spraying from a bottle.  I had to take one of them upstairs to again clean around the bathtub and the sinks in MBR.

No furniture was  moved when they vacumed the carpet. I currently have one chair and 3 tables in LR until new furniture is delivered.  They did not clean the office at all. My house is not dirty or messy, so I can't understand how they worked for so long and did so little. I called and spoke to the owner who wanted to send someone out to clean what was missed which I agreed to do in 2 weeks.  Tonight, I noticed they did not dust the bottom of the bed frame, or dressers in master. My husband has 2 guitars on a cedar chest, and they did  not even attempt to move them or dust under them, or the TV.

I had purchased a gift for my friend and in 3 hours they cleaned LR, DR, FR, kitchen and BR. They scrubbed floors, baseboards, walls, windows,cleaned the refig inside and out, the stove, all kitchen cabinets, cleaned fireplace and took apart 3 light fixtures and washed them, and rehung them.  They actually used Pine- Sol so the house did  smell clean.  Based on the huge difference in cleaning our houses, I would not use them again.  Maybe you will be lucky and get the A Team.  I did not.

It went absolutely great! The crew showed up on time and provided excellent cleaning services in the scheduled time. It went so well, in fact, that we have contracted with them to come in every other week with a crew of 3 for 1 hour to clean our home. They arrive on time, with all the necessary cleaning materials and get the whole house done spotlessly in just an hour! What's more, they are very affordable. We could not be happier.

They do a good job and always show up on time.

I have the service regularly scheduled every three weeks.  The staff have always been very courteous, come in, and get to work right away.  The owner is very resposive to any issues - which have only been minor.
I recommended the service to a friend and she has also been very happy with this company.

Very good. They take pride in their work and are very nice people. Maids for Less has been cleaning my house on and off for several years. Be specific in what you want cleaned. They are good about honoring you requests. I recommend that you write a list for the first few visits or if your cleaning needs change.

This is the worst review that I have EVER given anyone. I came home and boxes were everywhere. The silver was out of the china cabinet. They had gone through cabinets, drawers, and closets indescriminately. They packed what they seemed to have wanted by throwing it in a box: glass was broken, silver was missing, jewelry was missing, wood items were scratched. They also threw away papers and mail (including checks and important phone numbers). I had to go through each bag of garbage to retrieve them. When I did get home, the girls were starting in the bedroom. I instructed the two young girls about what to pick up and what to leave alone. After talking to Debbie downstairs, I returned and found that they packed the area I especially told them to leave alone. Several pieces of jewlery were missing, and still are missing after having gone through all the boxes myself. I estimate the damages and the loss as at least a few thousand dollars. I asked Debbie to send me a receipt, since this could be counted as moving expenses and tax deductable. She never did, never responded to my repeated calls, and did not respond when I called and told her that there were issues with the work done.

THEIR WORK ISN'T TERRIBLE, BUT THEY ARE UNRELIABLE. I WOULD NOT TRUST THEM IN MY HOME AGAIN THOUGH. I HAVE CANCELED MY SERVICE WITH THEM STILL HAVE NOT RECEIVED MY KEY BACK. I WOULD STRONGLY RECOMMEND THAT YOU DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY BASED ON MY TERRIBLE EXPERIENCES.

THEY DID A WONDERFUL JOB. MOST CLEANING COMPANIES HAVE LEFT ME FEELING 'IT WAS FINE BUT I'D DO IT BETTER IF I DID IT MYSELF', NOT THIS TIME. I COULDN'T HAVE DONE A BETTER JOB. THERE WAS SOME CONFUSION REGARDING THE TIME OF THE APPOINTMENT. PERHAPS CALL TO CONFIRM THAT MORNING OR THE NIGHT BEFORE.

DEBBIE IS VERY ACCOMMODATING AND VERY PROFESSIONAL. YOU CAN TELL THAT SHE TAKES GREAT PRIDE IN HER COMPANY AND IN HER CREW.

HAVE USED FOR TWO YEARS. SAME TWO EMPLOYEES DO MY HOUSE EVERY TWO WEEKS. THEY CAN ACCOMMODATE SPECIAL REQUESTS. CHARGE $40 PER HOUR. IT TAKES THEM ABOUT ONE AND A-HALF HOURS FOR REGULAR CLEANING. THEY ARE VERY UP FRONT ABOUT ANY BROKEN ITEMS - WHICH IS RARE. THEY WILL FULLY REIMBURSE FOR ANY DAMAGE.

I found them very easy to work with, friendly, dependable and helpful. She is a little bit slow to return phone messages, but it did not get in the way too much.

DISAPPOINTED IN OVERALL QUALITY OF WORK AND DEPENDABILITY. THEY LIED ABOUT PRODUCTS USED AND SEVERAL TIMES WERE JUST GETTING THERE WHEN I GOT HOME AT 5:00 (THEY WERE TO CLEAN IN THE AM). DID NOT CALL AHEAD WHEN THEY COULDN''T COME NOR DID THEY FOLLOW-UP TO LET ME KNOW WHY OR TO OFFER TO RESCHEDULE. THIS IS A FAMILY BUSINESS AND CUSTOMER SERVICE WAS BETTER WHEN MOTHER HANDLED THE BUSINESS. ONCE BUSINESS WAS TURNED OVER TO HER SON IN LATE 2001, HE SHOWED UP ONCE AND THEN MISSED THE NEXT TWO TIMES AND DID NOT BOTHER TO CALL ME. CUSTOMER SATISFACTION IS OBVIOUSLY NOT TOO IMPORTANT TO HIM.

DID A GOOD JOB FOR THE MOST PART BUT THOUGHT THEY WERE A LITTLE PRICEY

RECOMMENDED HIGHLY. SAME CREW EACH TIME. OWNER FOLLOWS UP TO CHECK SATISFACTION.

ONLY TOOK THE GIRLS 1 HOUR AND 1/2 THEY WERE QUIET AND PLEASANT AND VERY EFFICIENT! WOULD USE AGAIN- IF NEED BE

CLEANED ENTIRE DOWNSTAIRS OF HOME. DID A GREAT JOB. WERE EFFICIENT, PROFESSIONAL, & VERY ACCOMMODATING. CALLED AHEAD WHEN THEY HAD TO CHANGE THE TIME & WORKED WITH MEMBERS TIME NEEDS.
