She was really nice and did a great job. I gave her a B instead of an A because I felt she used a high pressure sales tactic to try and convince me to get my dog groomed more frequently than necessary. I did not go back. If you need your dog groomed frequently, it's a good place.

Gloria does an incredible job. Our dog loves to go there and gets excited when I turn in the driveway. My Cavalier has never looked better and we like to stay on the consistent 6 week schedule. We will continue to use Darling Doggies and highly recommend her services.

Gloria does a wonderful job handling & grooming our 2 yr old westie. I love that he is not stuck there all day. He is usually done within 2 hours.  He has a regular appt same time & day every 6 weeks.

Excellent. Gloria is not only a warm and caring groomer who does a great job of grooming my poodle, she is also very aware and attentive to the needs and of my dog. Several times over the years Gloria has noticed things with my dog and suggested I bring her to a vet. Each time Gloria was right. I highly recommend Gloria to others.

The owner Gloria is very responsive and caring of my dog.  She specializes in small dogs and I have been going to Darling Doggies since April, 2012.  The cost for a bath and the cost for a full groom are well within reason.  My dog was previously groomed at a large pet store that offered pet grooming inside.  The issues I have with these locations are individuals in training and a high turnover rate of staff working on dogs.  With Darling Doggies, I know that the same individual is grooming and bathing my dog and therefore gets to understand all the dog's needs and personality of my dog.  I have never had a bad experience in 4 years and my dog always looks great when she is ready.  A bath and full groom service is about 1 hour and a call is placed to me when the dog is ready.

I highly recommend Darling Doggies to anyone looking for a groomer for their dog.

It went amazing. We love her. This is not the first dog we have taken there. We have had 2 other dogs that we have taken there as well. We love her to death.

Gloria is great we have been taking our yorkie there for over 13 years. Shes very caring and compassionate . several times she has contacted us regarding our dog ' health not only does she make our dog look good but she is a true animal lover

Her work quality is great and our dog seems to love going to her for grooming. Gloria genuinely seems to care about Chewy and takes great care of him while in her charge. I drop my dog off at the appointed time and Gloria will call me within an hour to an hour and a half to tell me he is done. At other groomers it can turn into an all day affair. We will continue to take our dogs to Gloria because we know that our pets are in great hands while with her and that they will look great after Gloria gets done with them.

She is very focused on the welfare of the dog. She is very personable and has been a good teacher for me as well. She is organized and is good at getting the monthly time scheduled. She gets along great with my dog, and he is always happy to see her.

I have been using Darling Doggies as my groomer for 13 years and through 2 dogs. Gloria, the owner, is a very skilled groomer, treats both the customers and dogs with respect and care, and works very quickly. I highly recommend Darling Doggies. For one thing, most groomers these days want you to leave your dog for 4 or 6 hours - with DD, my pooch is usually ready in a hour or so. Gloria is a very experienced groomer, and the dogs respond to her without her having to tether them down. My dog is usually a pretty wild and active guy, but in Gloria's hands he is well behaved and sits for his haircut.  Also, Gloria has several times pointed out to me things I had missed where my dog had some problem -ear infection, and in one case a much more serious illness. Her insights helped me care properly for my dog. Can't go wrong here - go to Darling Doggies.

We have used Darling Doggies for the grooming of several  dogs over the years. We have always found Gloria the owner to be very professional and she does an excellent job of washing and grooming our dog Chewy. Chewy seems to enjoy the experience and we feel very comfortable leaving him in Gloria's care. We are able to drop Chewy off at our convenience and Gloria will call when it is time to pick him up. There have been several occasions when we have had the need to make last minute appointments and Gloria has been very responsive to our needs. We have always found Gloria and her staff to be very friendy and have enjoyed using Darling Doggies over these many years.

I have been taking my dogs to Darling Doggies for over 8 years now.  Gloria is always professional and friendly and treats the dogs with respect and kindness.  Gloria is one of the few groomers who does not tether the dogs to the table while she is grooming them, which is another one of the reasons that i use her.  Gloria always finds time to chat with me, no matter how busy she is, and on several occasions she has brought issues to my attention (she told me about an ear infection that I did not realize my dog even had).  I had a Senior dog who had difficulty standing, was partially blind and very sensitive to people he did not know.  Gloria found ways to groom him, without creating additional anxiety for him.  I truly believe no other groomer would have groomed my dog,  let a lone been so committed. I have recommended several people to Darling Doggies.  In closing, I would never take my dogs to any other groomer.  Gloria is  one of the most compassionate, dedicated and loving animal lover I have ever met.

Gloria is the real deal  when looking for trust, compassion and understanding for your pet.  I honestly wouldn't want anyone else handling my pet baby, Shanna.  Not only is she knowledgable and caring regarding pet health and grooming, but she goes the distance with animal rights and protection.  She helped me get through a very trying time when I lost my Chinese Crested, Charlie.  If it wasn't for Gloria, I wouldn't have Shanna today.  Shanna, is a yorkie, whom Gloria introduced me too through a friend.  I didn't think I wanted another pet so quickly after losing my best friend but changed my mind quickly after meeting Shanna.  Gloria personally drove me to meet Shanna, took me back to her shop when it was closed to groom Shanna for the first time before I took her home and wouldn't accept any compensation from me for her help.  This woman has a heart of Gold.  Many blessings and good years to come forth to her business.

If you are looking for a dog groomer look no further! Gloria of Darling Doggies is the most compassionate person not only in what she does but also for her clients and their owners. I have been going to Gloria for about 15 years now and 2 dogs later. She is always very loving with her dogs and cares for their well being. There have been times she has made a phone call to me concerned about my dog and is just checking up. She has been in business for a long time and knows what she is doing.

She tries her hardest to make sure she can accommodate everyone. There have been times she feels bad that she can't squeeze someone in, that she has come in on the weekend and her day off.

For 12 years I have taken my dogs to Gloria at Darling Doggies. My son and daughter-in-law also take their dog there upon my recommendation.

I have never found a more caring person than Gloria. Her love of animals is so apparent to the owners and dogs who go to Darling Doggies. Gloria goes out of her way to calm my dachshund who is afraid of water. She has his welfare at heart when she lets him cling to her while being washed. She cares more about the dogs than about trying to be a glamour queen while doing her grooming business. Gloria has always looked and acted professional.

The facility is clean and pleasant. Gloria is such a wonderful person. I highly recommend Darling Doggies.

We brought our dog there for her first experience with a bath/grooming. Gloria is the owner/groomer at Darling Doggies. Her lobby is inviting, but her work area is a mess. She did allow us into her grooming area which is open to view from the lobby area. The place was really dirty. Not just hair from the groomings, but dirty ground in dirt on the floors. The cages she uses for the pet clients were also dirty with dryed on hair hanging on the grates which had been there for ages. Not a place I'd like my pet to sit and wait for my return.
Gloria, herself,  looked like she had just rolled out of bed and looked like a chaotic mess. She spoke of other clients and their personal lives, including some name dropping. She was rough with our dog, who was obviously nervous.
I was very disappointed in her facility and with her as well. She will not see our dog ever again and I will make sure to share my experience at Darling Doggies with others who are looking for a groomer.
I really am surprised that she has remained in business this long.

There are many things that differentiate how Gloria runs her grooming business from other groomers.

First, you call and make an appointment. You bring in your dog and an hour or so later you pick your dog up. Until with most groomers, your dog doesn?t spend the whole dog locked up in some cage in some back room or isn?t part of an assembly line process where all the dogs are washed at once and then trimmed.

Second, how Gloria handles your dog is transparent?literally. The grooming is not done in some back room where clients aren?t permitted. Instead, you come into the reception area and if you like you can walk right into the room where the grooming is done. Or you can look through the glass window that is placed between reception and the groom area and observe Gloria at work.  

Third, Gloria does all the grooming herself. She has groomed dogs for many years and treats your dog with respect and care. You know a true professional is at work, styling your dog to fit his/her personality and also taking into account how much you want to brush your dog.  I have a Silky Terrier and while the breed normally has hair down to the ground that needs constant combing, my dog isn?t the type to put up with daily combing.  Instead, we discussed my dog and Gloria recommended the best cut for his (and my) personality. He looks adorable and even as the hair grows out he still looks great.

Fourth, Gloria cares about your dog. While washing and cutting your dog?s hair, she examines your dog for potential problems, like rashes and growths.  Of course she isn?t a vet, but it helps to have another set of eyes looking at your dog.  She is very gentle and caring with each dog. My dog just loves her.

Fifth, she sells no products, isn?t associated with any vet and her business is grooming.  Gloria is focused on grooming and the welfare of your dog and isn?t out to sell you any products or the services of others.  If you ask her for suggestions, any recommendations she makes comes from her long experience with dogs and are in the best interest of your dog?not to line her own pockets.  While her shop is in the same building as a vet, she is not an employee of the vet and you don?t have to take your dog to that vet (I don?t).   So unlike other groomers, there is never any pressure to buy products or use a particular vet.

Gloria is an excellent dog groomer. She knows each of her clients and their pets and provides personalized service. She loves animals and cares about their welfare.
