Although the movers were very nice and polite, I was extremely  disappointed in their packing methods. Before they started packing, I told them that I had experience with movers using excessive amounts of paper to wrap useless and/or indestructible items (e.g. plastic storage containers) and that I wanted a minimum of packing paper used. There were very few fragile items to pack; I had spent weeks packing all of the plates, glasses, good china, crystal, etc. I wrapped each of these items in one piece of paper and not one was broken. When I unpacked boxes from my kids' rooms, I was shocked to see COMPLETELY WORTHLESS items such as a small metal wrench and a craft made out of sticks and yarn wrapped in at least five pieces of paper each and carefully taped close. I said something to the guys after I noticed this the first day, but it did not stop them. Obviously, they have been trained to milk the customer for everything they can, by packing as inefficiently as possible. This bothered me not only because I had explicitly asked them not to do it, but also because of the enormous waste of paper and the personal insult; I felt very much like I was being treated like some dumb housewife whose voice was not being heard.  
At the opposite extreme was the negligent way that an extremely expensive credenza was handled. Prior to it being moved, I said, "I can't wait to see this in my new house. It is my favorite piece of furniture that we own." I have no idea what would possess the movers to FLIP A MARBLE TOPPED CREDENZA UPSIDE DOWN to move it. As a result of this bizarre moving technique, the marble fell out and broke. This damage never would have occurred if it had been moved in an upright position. I would have been able to forgive such negligent behavior if the company would have taken responsibility and paid for it to be repaired, but instead, they incorrectly estimated the weight of the credenza to be 300 lbs. and sent me a check for $180 because I had agreed to the included insurance coverage of $.60/lb. Being a reasonable person, I would have accepted this compensation if my credenza would have been damaged in the normal course of moving; however, the fact that my valuable furniture was treated in a negligent manner by being overturned changes everything. Since it is not a normal moving technique to flip furniture with an unattached and fragile stone top upside down, the damage becomes a matter separate from the insurance that I signed up for. Certainly, if the insurance agreement that I signed had indicated that such treatment would occur, I would have opted for double the insurance. 
Hopefully anybody who uses this company will carefully oversee their moving techniques and/or sign up for the maximum insurance.

We liked the sales person she was really nice, however she said she was going to be out the day of the move and she got busy and did not show up. The movers were good however the truck broke down three times and they did not arrive until a day later.

I got them through my employer. They are very customer oriented. Nothing was broken from the move.

They were professional. They looked at all the rooms and wrote down everything. Their quote was the highest. She did not respond immediately and I had to call her and she called back the same day. She did not apologize for not getting back to me but she sent the quote immediately. Her quote was $4800. She did what was required to do but her response time was not good.
