Once we knew we had to do the work, we interviewed three contractors. Mike from ACM came across as the most genuine. He also seemed to be the one to do the job as close to as we would do it ourself. When he came to quote the work, we had discussions about where the trenches should be dug. He was very knowledgeable and gave recommendations on where the lines should be run and why. At one point he gave us the option of running the lines underneath a stamped concrete walkway or cutting through the sidewalk. We chose going underneath, Mike told us that there would be a bigger hole if we did it this way, but respected our wishes and had is crew manually dig under the walkway. I'm sure it was a pain but no one ever complained to us about the extra work. Mike and his crew are professional, knowledgeable, hardworking and very strait forward in how they run their business and do the work that it takes to run this business. Way to go Mike and crew.
Description of Work: Needed to tie the downspouts to the storm sewer to bring our house up to code for the city. They dug a trench through our yard and laid the new pipe into the trench. This pipe was tied into the city store sewer. Then they tied all the downspouts to the newly laid pipe. Every day or second day they had the city inspectors come out to make sure they were staying within the codes of the city. They always were. After all the work was done, they put grass seed down to cover the trenches they dug throughout the yard. Mike was very accommodating to us. He had connections to the city which helped us cut down on our interaction with the city (since we were not happy with the way the city Mandated this work to be done). Any time there were a couple ways to go with the work, Mike would consult us instead of just doing the work. Mike and his crew were very professional and courteous.
