I was originally given a price of $140.00 to clean my entire house. I accepted their offer and they began cleaning my home in January 2009. After two months I was told that I was not paying enough and my rate was increased to $150.00 per cleaning. Now in July I just received a letter from them stating that they are not making enough to cover their expenses and they are raising my rate to $195.00 per cleaning. I would not have left my prior service but I did because Tidy Maids gave me a better price after coming to my house to do the quote. I feel they were dishonest and only quoted me a low price and then when they got my business they continued to raise the price. When I first started having them clean my home I recommended them to a friend. She had Tidy Maids come in to wash her woodwork and they missed many places. When she called them, Joanne (the owner) argued with her and the problem was never corrected. I of course never recommended them to another friend again.
