The roof was replaced as promised. No issues with the installation, until now.

Contractor's people were here every day (except rainy days), worked steadily, were meticulous in doing good job, we were very pleased with all aspects of the work.

The company was so professional and the crews were so honest.  The owner was also present during the process and walked us through the process.  We would not hesitate to use them again.

I worked with Bill to get all 17 windows replaced in my house.  Bill was punctual with the appointment and I had to give him 1/2 down to get the windows ordered.  About a month went by and I did not hear anything from Bill.  I called him and got the "I was just about to call you" response.  It would have been nice to be kept in the loop of what was happening after giving someone over 3k.  The install went off perfect and the windows are very nice.  I gave him several references which he promised to pay me $100 each for and nothing came of that.  That started to irritate me and I called asking him if he would do some additional work in exchange for the references.  He said he would and then about 6 months went by with nothing happening.  I called and left him a message telling him I wasn't real happy and he actually called back and did what he promised.  I figured I would never hear back.  If the communication improved, I would give him an A's across the board.

It went very well and I would use them again. I paid for the job. I like their prices and I like that they show up on time and do good work. The owner is very nice to work with and very accommodating. He comes out to the house promptly. I was very pleased with them and pleasantly surprised. I am thinking of having them do sliding glass door replacement next.

There was a major snow storm with 18" of snow, temps in the teens and windchill below zero on the first scheduled work day. That morning I received calls from both the contractor as well as the installers to reschedule installment. The windows were delivered that day though. There were three installers and they worked over three days. All three installers arrived on time at the scheduled time of 9:00 each morning and they were polite and conscientious about not tracking snow into the house. They worked quickly and efficiently in the extremely cold weather. One installer would take the window out while another brought the new window in and the third would install it. All 25 windows were installed with insulation the first day. The second day they took out the sliding glass door and had to rebuild the frame as the new door was slightly smaller than the original. The door was installed the second day. The third day indoor trim and outdoor trim was added to the windows and door. The workers cleaned everything up and hauled the old windows and doors away. The windows look great and the new door is beautiful. I couldn't be happier with the quality of the material and the quality of the work.

We signed off on the contract with Bill on 8/31 to have quite a bit of work done on our house. We felt that the price was really quite good for the amount of work we were having done. Work did not begin until 10/8. Part of the reason for the delay was waiting on the windows and doors to come in. In particular, our doors are a very non-standard size, so they took awhile longer. Bill had told us it would be about a month from the time we had signed the contract to when work began and even though it took slightly longer than that, Bill was very responsive when I phoned him to ask for an update on our status. Once the materials all came in, Bill called me on 10/8 and sent his crew out that very afternoon to start work. The crew consisted of 4-5 workers. That first day, the weather was not cooperative, but they still managed to get the portion of the roof over the porch completed before calling it a day. They returned as promised the next day at about 10am with all the windows and doors. Part of the crew continued with the roof, while the rest put in the windows and started the front door. The work continued on everyday including Saturday (no Sunday, which I wouldn't expect) until the 14th when it was completed. I was very impressed. First and foremost, the crew worked hard. Each day they came out, they put in at least 8 hours (with a short break for lunch). They were frequently never there later than 9am (often times earlier). They were very respectful, as unobtrusive as was possible under the circumstances and neat. The quality of work was very high. They really took the time with the roof to get it right. Even though they were laying over the existing roof, they did fix some places where the boards under the roof were pushing up under the shingles. The house is old with uneven walls, but they really squared up the doors quite nicely and trimmed them out. After all was done we found only one minor thing that we wanted to change (trim around kitchen windows). I explained this to Bill (yesterday as of this writing) and he promised to have someone come out to fix it the way we want. He also noticed another minor thing that we hadn't even seen that he is going to have them fix as well. The plan is that they will return next week to do these two little fix ups, but I am very confident that they will do so. I have to say that I have had really bad luck with contractors in the past. It seems to be a pervasive attitude in many of them to show up when they feel like it, leave after putting in very little time and doing shoddy work. I will admit I was nervous going into this experience given that history, however, I never had cause to worry with this group. It was a very satisfying experience and I would definitely hire them again.
