Home selling is stressful, even with the best people helping you. But with Will, it was much less stressful, and much, much faster than I thought it would be. My 90-year old house had an offer and contract in less than a week and closed without a hitch. I highly recommend him.
He also helped us purchase our current home. He was very patient with us as we looked at probably 30 houses until we found exactly what we were looking for. The whole process went smoothly and Will was very professional. I would recommend him highly.

Our experience with Will Penney was tremendous. We all know that selling a home and purchasing a new home is an extremely stressful process, yet very rewarding as well. Will Penney knows this business inside and out. His expertise, confidence, upfront and open approach to assisting you throughout the entire process alleviates much of the stress and uncertainty in the home buying/selling process. Will was always in reach, answered all questions, kept us laughing and smiling, yet always was professional and polite. He sold our starter home within 10 day, and we absolutely love our new house. What makes Will, and Penney Real Estate so unique is that he genuinely cares about his clients. This continues long after the paperwork is complete, and you are comfortable in your new home. When we had a issue with our home warranty company, he personally called them, and within an hour, the issue was resolved. Four months after our closing date, we opened our in ground pool, and realized that the seller failed to disclose numerous issues. Will immediately fought for us, recommend an attorney, and followed up with us during the process to make sure everything was handled properly. This type of service is hard to come by these days, however, not with Will Penney! He is definitely one of a kind! My husband and I HIGHLY recommend him for any and all of your real estate needs!!!

A buyer was found within a day of our listing going online. When she became unable to complete a deal, Will immediately located another even more qualified buyer. Our home was sold at full list with no concessions. Will's office colleague, Rebecca Davey, got busy soon after and set up a number of new home showings. She was patient with us, provided excellent criticisms and insights for each property, and eventually found our next home within about two and a half weeks. Will did his part in negotiating their substantial price down into our purchasing budget. The original price was reduced by a significant percentage to our advantage. Small discrepancies were handled swiftly and efficiently.
The bottom line is this - Will treats real estate as his business, not a hobby. He has just a small office and an efficient cadre of helpers to help you reach your goals. He has good intuition for marketable pricing, and he's not interested in dragging the process out for weeks or months on end. Penney Real Estate earned their commission by providing us with good service. We highly recommend this company.

extremely knowledgeable and has a great deal of experience in real estate. During our process we ran into a few hurdles and Will resolved all of our issues. He is a great problem solver.
Our house sold for 98% of the listing price and within two months. He far exceeded our expectations and left more money in our pocket.

It was a tremendous experience. We have bought and sold several homes in our lifetime. This was the smoothest experience of any. Will maintained great communication during every part of the process. His advise related to inspections, pricing, advertising and all other manner of annoying details was greatly appreciated.
Will is by far the easiest Real Estate Agent we have ever worked with do to his direct approach to dealing with issues and buyer expectations. Very professional and extremely honest regarding realistic pricing and what it took to sell our home in our timeframe and price range. No exaggerated claims, no unqualified perspective buyers. He minimized our time in the process and deal aggressively but fairly with other Realtors and buyers.

This was not an easy sale, as the house was located in a 100-year flood zone. Additionally, there had been problems with the storm sewers in the area; these had been corrected by the City of Akron. When it became obvious that these circumstances could lead to misunderstanding among potential buyers, Mr. Penney took care to inform any buyers / buyers agents of the related facts. In at least one case, it was my perception that he even gave another real estate agent a bit of a tutorial on the topic of 100-year flood zones and flood insurance. Mr. Penney was a strong advocate during negotiations once an offer was received.
I live approximately 700 miles away from this property and was initially concerned that selling the property might be (choose your favorite adjective) difficult, confusing, unpleasant, painful. It was none of those; Mr. Penney's agency answered all my questions, kept me informed, and took care of details making the entire process proceed smoothly.
