Jewelry Sales/Design/Repair
After obtaining several estimates, I went to Hood and Hoover. The jewler in on the premises, so I got to talk to him as well as the sales lady. I liked the idea that the ring was not sent out of the store; all work is done in-house. Both were able to show me styles of settings that would show off the diamond well. The jewler was able to remove the diamond from the ring and set it in a white gold pendant. After I had the pendant in hand, I asked about a chain. The saleslady showed me several chains that would be heavy enough for the pendant and that I liked. I got a 14K. 16 inch white gold chain. Both she and the jewler were very helpful and not pushy. I am very pleased with the result and have received many compliments.
