We got siding, a small roof repair, and an entryway door from Home Appeal. We got a few different quotes on comparable materials and Home Appeal was slightly lower but generally in-line with the others. The choice to go with Home Appeal was the comfort level in discussing our options and the knowledge and assistance they provided as options. Mike the owner from Home Appeal was very courteous and thorough and took his time with us. He offered opinions based on his expertise, but didn't push anything in picking the right products for our project. Throughout the process, Mike called and texted to keep us updated on when things were happening and the timeline they would be executed. When time came to get to work, his staff was incredibly professional and Mike was there multiple times a day checking on the progress. They have their own crews working and don't subcontract out, and it shows in their pride of work. The results were equally impressive as the process and we are very happy with our remodeled home. I would recommend Home Appeal to anyone in the area looking for a home renovation and they would be my first call on future projects.

From the start, I was impressed with the responsiveness of owner Mike who quickly scheduled a convenient appointment to come out to my house and discuss door options. I had a budget that I did not want to exceed, and Mike worked hard to help me meet my budget by recommending options to cut the expense while still maintaining the high level of quality I wanted in front entry doors. One of the main things I liked about Mike compared to a lot of home improvement contractors is that he did not waste my time with endless pitches about his company and descriptions of all his satisfied former customers--Mike said his short promotional piece about his company and then got down to the business of helping me design the actual project. I have had my time wasted by so many other contractors before that spend 75% of our meeting blathering on about how everyone loves their company because they do quality work and have been in business a million years, and then they only spend 25% of our time on meeting my project needs.  Mike got right to the details of the project which meant he respected my time and intelligence.
After designing the initial door, we ran into a little snag because of the unusual size of my entryway. We found out that the original door design I wanted wasn't available in my door size--Mike quickly contacted me with a number of options and I was able to select an equally suitable design that worked for my entry size, he was able to change the order, and we were back in business. As an immediate apology for the inconvenience, Mike offered to upgrade the threshold part of the door frame to a more attractive finish at no cost to me. Additional measurements needed to be taken on my door for building the frame, and Sean,  the door installers, offered to come out at an extremely convenient time (Sunday morning--now what contractor ever does that?) to get those measurements. That was nice. 
Mike estimated 6 weeks for the custom doors to be built, and he took the initiative to call me and update me on the status during this waiting period. His time estimates were exact in terms of when the doors were finished and ready for installation. That very week they were ready his installer Sean called to set up yet another convenient appointment for my installation, and the doors were delivered to my house that very morning. Sean and his crew were friendly and efficient--they called ahead to say they were arriving, came on time, got to work, and got the doors beautifully installed in roughly 4.5 hours. They even cheerfully tolerated my inquisitive bulldog and small children who of course, were very interested in the installation process. Owner Mike came by the job as it was finishing up to ensure everything was up to his and my level of satisfaction. My entryway was cleaned of construction debris, the frame was nicely caulked,  and they even reinstalled my security system sensors on the door. And the doors look AMAZING. They have changed the entire appearance of our house--both inside and out.

Mike was on the job site daily to make sure things were running smoothly and everything was on hand to insure the job was completed properly and professionally.  Once the job was completed Mike did a final inspection of the job with me to be sure I was completely satisfied with the work done by Home Appeal.
I highly recommend if you want quality work done by a quality company that you speak with Mike about doing any work you wish to have done on your home.

When we needed windows, we were referred to Home Appeal from a good friend who had had their siding done by this company and was very pleased with the owner and the job they did. We called Home Appeal and spoke with the owner, Mike. He was very knowledgeable and showed us many choices of windows and explained the energy ratings. We really liked the windows and the prices were good, so we placed the order. A few weeks later, we were thrilled with our new windows. The workers cleaned up after themselves and were courteous and efficient. Mike was on site to make sure everything went smoothly. When we decided to do siding, roof, and doors, we again called Home Appeal. After making our decisions, we had the roof done first. It was done efficiently in one day. The siding and doors were then finished. Mike was on site every day to check on progress and work quality. The crew even did a few extra items for us and did not leave a nail behind. Mike even helped us with referrals for other services needed. Our house looks brand new. We would highly recommend Home Appeal.
