All of the work was accomplished in 3 days with precision and a close eye to detail. Mr. Avery and his young helper worked as a perfect team and seemed like they each knew what the other needed as they worked. Mr. Avery had installed a 40 something feet privacy fence on our property 2 years ago and the results were the cause of us calling on his expertise this time. We intend to call Avery Fences and Decks whenever we feel that we need their talents again.

Matt, is a good guy. Did a great job at a fair price. Unfortunately I've had trouble with the gate, but that had to do with shifting soil etc.
The rest of the fence has held up great. The deck is great. Some of the lumber has split and cracked even though I sealed it, but overall he did a great job.

The unit Matt supplied appears to be of very high quality: the vinyl cladding over the steel newel posts for the stair rail, and pressure treated 4x4 for the awning support, was about 1/8" thick...probably more. The final product was very sturdy and adds a nice touch to the front porch. They were all solidly anchored into the concrete porch with expansion bolts.
Matt was a bit disappointed that he couldn't make everything line up perfectly, but that is MY 60 year old house, not his workmanship. The awning and stairs of the house aren't perfectly aligned, but you really can't tell the compromises he had to make unless they were pointed out to you. I am very pleased with the end product.
Matt was responded to emails and inquiries within 2-3 days during the initial bidding process. Matt was very pleasant and very professional. Highly recommended.
