I was communicating to them via emails because I ended up being in the hospital. There is nothing negative about them because they came out and did exactly what I asked by giving me a quote. It went well that way but as far as anything else I cannot comment because I really did not get to use them or follow through with the whole thing. They were very prompt with regards to the email and the quote. I had two quotes from two different companies and they both did very well.

They advised me of a time and date of work.   Tech. called before coming to remind me.   Tech showed up on time.and was very careful to prevent damage.   The job was done with quality and timely.   Clean up was perfect.

Prompt response to my call; provided a bid which turned out to be accurate; serviceman showed up on time and did a great job of replacing the garage door; removed all the material from the replaced door; work was just as I expected and am totally happy with the choice of the vendor and the result.

I called for an appointment and they were able to come out right away. They quoted a price over the phone of $250.00 and $5.00 gas surcharge for replacing 2 springs and informed me that if there was more work to be done they would let me know before work began. I asked if I they offered a senior discount or an Angies list discount. He said they did and it was 10% off the service.
The Technician arrived a few minutes before the scheduled appointment, said that we just needed the two springs, confirmed the price and completed the work in just over an hour..

He did his work and showed me everything he had done. He told me what he had checked, and that everything was fine. He recommended a possible follow-up for next year, and he was very good about explaining what he was doing.

Action Door Service provided excellent services.  They came out and did a real good job. Definitely use them if you have a garage door problem. They're very professional, very courteous and very efficient. They came on time and did a good job. There's not much more you can do.

it was fine; a preventive check

I called them & explained the garage door wouldn't open.  They came out very quickly, and at the time they gave me.  They gave me a very reasonable estimate to fix the problem with a guarantee.  They worked quickly and I haven't had any problems since.  The door was about 15 years old with a remote control and it works like new.

Initial call went great.  I was told they would have someone out to me by the morning (I called around 9am).  However, tech did not show up until 2pm.  Also, I looked at other reviews on here for the same type of work done and was expecting to pay around $100 - $175 for the service.  I was told by the tech since it was after hours I was charged an OT fee.  An extra $75 for an hour's work seems very pricey and wish I was initially told this.  Although I did not ask how much the job would cost since I was going by past reviews.  Lesson learned to get a price upfront.

I contacted the company via Angies List email and received a phone call back from the salesman, Ron, within a couple of hours. We met THAT DAY to take measurements, receive and estimate and sign a contract. Both doors had to be special ordered, but the the wait was not long (a few weeks). When the doors came in, the salesman contacted me; we set up an install appointment. The workers that came out were great! Friendly and professional, they completed the first job and let me know they were on the way to do the second. They also were prompt. The overall experience was wonderful, and I have two nice new doors to prove it!

The repairman showed up promptly and called before he came.  He was polite and efficient.

Came out on time for the inital call to measure and explain options.  Had examples and color chips to pick from.  Explained difference in products, warrenties and price.  Stayed in my budget and gave us a nice looking garage door.  Install was done on time and did not take as long as anticipated.  We are happy with job.
