On April 23, 2014 I tried to open my garage door with the automatic opener, and it wouldn't open.  I thought at first that there was a problem with the opener, but after checking out the door I saw that one of the big springs on the garage door itself had snapped.  The spring and cable were both damaged.  I checked here on Angie's list and saw Loy's had a good solid rating, so I gave them a call.  I called at around 11AM and they were able to get to my house by 1:30PM. I was so relieved since I thought I wouldn't be able to get anyone here for a day or two.  The gentlemen who came out were nice and professional.  They had my garage door fixed by 3PM.  I was so happy this was fixed within hours of my calling them.  And I was even happier at the price of the service and repair -- it wasn't nearly as expensive as I thought it would be.    This was about 2 weeks ago, and everything is still working wonderfully.

Called Loy's on Wed 9/11/13  because I could not get prompt or polite service from the original installer of our garage door.   Loy's apologized for not being able to come same day(one of their employees was off sick)  but made arrangements to show up early on 9/12.  Their representative was very polite, and was able to determine that the circuit board on the opener was shot.  He demonstrated by temporarily installing a spare unit that worked perfectly.  He then explained  that he would have to order a replacement board and it would take about 2-3 business days to have it delivered.  Loy's received the part and called  me on Monday 9/16, and the circuit board was installed that day.  Very impressed with their service and would use them again.

My garage door spring broke and I called Loys.  (This is the 2nd time I have used them).  They arrived within  a few hours and although they did not have the replacement part, they patched it up to be functional until the part came in (a few days) and came back and completed the repair and checked for proper operation. Very satisfied with service and price

Have used Loy's  twice for garage door repairs.  Both times they came very quickly (within hours) and made the repairs quickly and reasonably priced. The first time, they did not have the replacement part but patched things together so it would operate the few days until the part came in.  I will definitely call again if I need garage door repairs
