Car Medic is the best! I have used Rick, Doug, and the gang for over 30 years and have always been happy.

This is a privately owned business so I had to wait a week while they had some people on vacation but they did the work promptly when after the car was dropped off the evening before repairs were scheduled . Have had no problems with this or other repairs done by Car Medic over ten years. I have never been pushed to do more repairs though they will point out other things they notice. I feel I can trust them and have never received any surprises nor had to take the car back because something was done wrong or skipped.
On this job I had just changed the radiator myself and instructed them to reuse my new antifreeze which they did. We reviewed the parts to be changed prior to the job starting and only a bad motor mount had to be added. Repairs completed when promised.

The work was done in a timely manner. Got the car back the same day. When i got home, I realized that the hand brake would not hold. I went back the next morning and had them fix it. They had not checked the tension on the hand brake cable after they finished the brake job, obviously. I was disappointed that this safety item was overlooked. It was the first time anything like this had happened in my dealings with Car Medic. This work was not performed by the owner, Rick who was on vacation, but by a much younger person.
In the past 2 years I have had the timing belt replaced late in 2010, and the clutch replaced just prior to this most recent repair. In both these instances I was perfectly satisfied with the work performed and believed it was either performed by Rick himself, or overseen by Rick. I will continue to use Car Medic, but in the future I will make sure Rick will be there to insure quality control. Rick provides the best auto repair work and value that I have experienced in the Steubenville, Ohio area.

We have used Car Medic for many years to repair our 5 vehicles as needed. Rick is always very busy, but he is good about getting a car in and getting it repaired if you call him.
We have always trusted his work. My husband can call and ask a question and Rick will always help him with an answer even though he could make money if we brought the vehicle in instead of fixing it ourselves.
