Description of Work: Poor execution of the Radon System install. The radon issue was resolved, but the company does not have proper tooling to core concrete. My poured concrete wall was punched with a 3/4" bit about 10 times leaving a very rough opening. The hole was drilled from outside to inside, breaking out very large chunks when punching through. Could have, and in the future will preform my own coring with the proper coring rig. 3" PVC was sealed around with spray foam and mortar work was not satisfactory. Guys asked permission to use my electrician tools (Greenlee lineman pliers and diagonal cutters) and later found them in the back of their van during clean up. Was this miscommunication between the two guys on whose tools they were or funny business. I would bring all tools necessary to do my job the right way. The radon fan was purely attached into the nearest junction box and then labeled on that circuit breaker which was my pellet stove. Not common practice. You add a new appliance that needs constant power (like a radon system); you add a sufficient breaker to accommodate that need. In the future if I have a radon issue, I will not call these guys and execute alot better myself.
