GEM LAWN

Description of Work: When I let my dogs out into the fenced back yard this morning, they ran barking to the back fence. I saw a man at the fence spraying the yard. I ran out (in my nighties) and yelled "Don't spray the dogs!". He kept right on spraying. I yelled again "Don't spray the dogs!". He made a remark which I couldn't hear, and kept right on spraying until he ran out of hose. I got the dogs in but it was too late. They had been sprayed with weed chemicals, which reportedly cause cancer in dogs. I drove around the block to see which company was spraying my neighbors lawn, as there are arborvitae evergreens blocking the view. The company was Gem Lawn. I called Gem Lawn and reported the incident. The person who answered said the individual was usually careful about these things. He wasn't "careful" today. I asked her to see that it does not happen again, and she agreed. However my impression was that Gem Lawn was not concerned.
